Telling the Older Brother (Katie and Jeff)

Katie walked up to Jeff's hotel room then knocked on the door. She was nervous about telling Jeff that she was pregnant, as well as upset. She tried not to worry about it but couldn't help it when she didn't know who her baby's father was. Katie looked up when she heard the door open then smiled a little.

"Hey." Katie said.

He smiled back at her. "Hey champ...what's up?" he asked letting her inside.

"Um...a lot." Katie said as she walked in.

He sat them both down on the bed. "Wanna talk about it?"

"Well I kind of have to since you're going to notice something different with me soon." Katie said.

He arched his eyebrow. "Alright...what's going on?"

Katie took a deep breath.

"I'm pregnant." Katie said.

"Pregnant?" he asked, more shocked than anything. "So...you and randy are having a baby?" he asked.

Katie felt tears in her eyes.

"Hopefully. After being raped I have no idea if Randy's the father." Katie said.

Jeff pulled Katie into a hug. "Hey...calm down...it's okay..." he said soflty.

"How is it okay? My rapist might be the father of my baby and dad thinks it was all my fault." Katie said.

"Because your baby is going to be healthy...and while it may not have been conceived in love or it may have if Randy was the father...it's still gonna be a healthy baby that's going to be raised in love." he explained.

"And Dad thinks WHAT?!"

"He thinks it's my fault that I got kidnapped then raped. He doesn't care at all." Katie said.

"Dad? Our dad?" he asked, still shocked.

Katie nodded.

"He thinks we're all making horrible decisions too." Katie said.

"How are we all making horrible decisions? We all have good jobs to support ourselves as well as our families. We all have healthy relationships...considering I'm getting married and Matt's probably gonna get married soon too." he sighed.

"I'll try and talk to him...I'm gonna go down soon and tell him about me and Candice."

"Good luck, he'll probably tell you're making a big mistake." Katie said.

"Well dad should know better with me by now. I do what I want when I want and I've been doing it since I was in high school." he chuckled.

"Which will most likely get you yelled at even more." Katie said.

"People have yelled at me for years Katie...including Dad." he smiled, hugging her.

"Well you didn't have dad yell at you when you happen to cry. That's why I hate hormones, I can't stop crying." Katie said.

"Well it happens...does Randy know?" he asked.

Katie gulped.

"No." Katie muttered.

"Do you want someone with you when you tell him? Because you will need to find out if the baby is his or not."

Katie nodded.

"It kills me not knowing if the baby is his or not and even though Ellie keeps telling me Randy will still love me if they baby isn't his I can't help but get nervous that he might leave." Katie said.
