Mmm...Burgers (anyoone)

"It's nice for someone to really accept me and care about me for who I really am." he said softly. He almost used the L word but that probably would have been too much.

Candice blushed and smiled at him. "Someone already does."

"Oh really?" he asked, arching an eyebrow and grinning that crooked grin of his.

"Uh huh." She nodded a little distracted by her favorite smile of his.

He chuckled softly. "And....who might this someone be?" he asked softly.

Candice shrugged. "You know her pretty well. She works with you. She even teamed with you once."

He tapped his chin as if he really had to think about it. "Well there's Maria, Trish, Lita, and...one other diva that sticks out in my mind...a very beautiful woman..she did these sexy commercials, she posed for Playboy...she was even women's champ and she's gonna do it again...I got it! Mae Young, right?" he asked, trying to keep a straight face.

Candice laughed. "To be honest I don't know how Mae Young feels about you, but I could ask if you'd like?"

He shuddered. "No, no no...it's okay...she's too much woman for me...or possibly any guy to handle." he said chuckling. He honestly had nothing but respect for the elderly diva.

"So how does this said person feel...about me? Not Mae...the real diva we were referring to?" he asked, softening a bit.

Candice smiled. "She's crazy about you. She loves how you're never afraid to be yourself and you inspire her to do the same. She thinks you're quite possibly the sweetest she's ever met, not to mention she finds you insanely attractive, blue hair and all. She can only hope you'll see her the way she sees you."

"Well...if she were to tell me herself...then I would definitely...definitely be inclined to return the feelings...because I find her incredibly beautiful both inside and out...she's not afraid to get down and dirty and I mean that in the best possible way. She's one of the most hardworking women I've ever met and she never fails to make me smile." he said softly, gazing into her beautiful eyes.

Candice blushed brilliantly before taking a deep breath. "All right. She's me. I'm crazy about you, Jeff."

He simply leaned across the table and placed a feather soft kiss against her lips. "I've been wanting to do that...for a damn long time..."

Candice beamed at him. "Well, I've been wanting you to for just as long."

"What's say you and I get out of here and go do something?" he asked.

Candice nodded. "I really like that idea!"

He got up, threw their trash away and as she got up, he wrapped an arm around her waist, liking the feeling immediately. "So...where would you like to go? You know I'm up for anything." he said smiling like a five year old.

Candice happily settled against his side. "Um...I don't know," She said thoughtfully. "We could go to the park, and get ice cream or something?" She suggested.

He smiled at her idea. "I like it...we can get some ice cream, walk around...and if there are no kids using it...swing sets." he said laughing a bit.

"Don't push me too high." Candice warned playfully. "I'm not as extreme as you, and I'll fall off." She laughed.

"Don't worry...I'll catch you if you fall." he said softly in her ear as they left the burger place.

She smiled brightly up at him. "Promise?"

"I promise." he said, kissing her cheek.
