Mmm...Burgers (anyoone)

The rainbow haired warrior had just ordered a double cheeseburger and fries with a drink and the serve handed him the tray. He found himself an empty table to started to chow down. Even though he was an athlete and should be watching more of what he was eating, there wasn't anything wrong with splurging every now and then.

"Hungry much?" Candice Michelle joked, standing over him with her own tray of food, consisting of a grilled chicken sandwich and fries.

He looked up at the familiar face of Candice Michelle. "Yeah actually...can't you tell I'm wasting away?" he said smirking. "Care to join me?" he offered her the chair that wasn't occupied.

Candice smiled. "If you don't mind company." She said sitting opposite him. "How've you been?"

"I never mind the company of such a beautiful woman." he said smiling warmly as she sat in front of him. "I've been good, and yourself?" he asked as he grabbed a fry and started munching on it.

Candice blushed at the compliment. "Thanks, Jeff. I've been good, trying to keep busy." She smiled back at him, eating one of her own fries. "Been up to anything interesting lately?"

He smiled when she blushed and shook his head. "Not too much really...just doin my thing in the ring, changing my hair color every few weeks, and just getting by...nothing really interesting." he said chuckling.

"What about you, Ms Supermodel?"

She laughed. "Not really a supermodel anymore since my photoshoots are Divashoots now. I've just been trying to get my ankle to cooperate, that way I can get back in the ring."

He nodded, wincing a bit when she mentioned her injury. "How's the rehab going by the way? I mean you should be set to make your comeback really soon, right?"

She grinned at him, her eyes lighting with excitement. "Try this week."

"Candi, that's awesome!" he said really excited. "Oh, we gotta do somethin' to celebrate or something...that's great news. Do you know if and when you can get a chance at the title?"

She giggled. "Thanks Jeff. I'm hoping there might be a title shot in my future, but first I've got to get in a match and earn it."

He nodded. "Makes sense. But it's only a matter of time before you get the belt again." he said nodding as he took another bite of his burger.

A huge smile lit her face at his statement. "Thanks Jeff that means a lot to me. I've had the worst luck with injuries this past year and a lot of people think I don't have it anymore, it's nice to know I've got someone on my side."

"Well that's because those people have no faith...I know you can do it...besides...I've been in your shoes before...except my issues were a little different, but still...it's a nice feeling to show people you've still got it and can do anything." he said reassuringly.

She smiled back at him feeling much more confident then before. "Well, you're faith in me is a huge support. I really appreciate it."

He nodded. "And you know I'll always be rooting for you and you know you can always count on me to talk, listen, whatever." he said smiling softly at her.

"Well that goes both ways you know." She assured him. "I'm always here for you too."

He smiled at that. "Thanks Candi...that means a lot, really." he said sincerely.

"Well I speak the truth." Candice smiled. "You're one of my favorite people."

He laughed. "Only one of...you mean I'm not THE favorite?" he asked in mock pain, his hand over his heart.

"Okay," She smiled. "You're the favorite if you promise not to tell Katie I said so."

"Hmmm...I'll make you deal...as long as I'm your favorite GUY, then I'm fine..you can have a favorite girl and a favorite guy." he explained like it was some rule.

"Okay then." Candice agreed with a laugh. "Jeff Hardy is my favorite guy in the whole wide world."

He smiled contently. "Okay...sounds good because Candice Michelle is my favorite girl in the whole world. Isn't that a coincidence?" he asked like it was a huge coincidence.
