Last Minute Birthday

Punk was hanging out at a restaurant, with a few of the guys late in the night. They all figured since they were in town, they would all catch up and whatnot. He told Colt about it, inviting him to come out since he probably needed a night out. He saw Colt come in and waved him over. "My love!" he joked.

Scott saw them and snorted, heading over. "I need your wife to come back home, you're kinda clingy."

"You'll be alright." he said as he greeted him. "Besides, we haven't hung out in forever."

"I've been working really hard." he said.

"Because everybody wants you again." he snorted. "I'm surprised the wife let you out tonight. Im getting jealous that she keeps you to herself. I may have to fight her." He joked as he grabbed a soda that was handed to him.

"Eh, she could take you." He snorted. "She's been a little crappy with me today, so I guess it's good that I got out."

He snorted. "Why? Got her a bad birthday present?" he laughed.

"Why would I buy her a bad birthday present when it's not her birthday?"

"....pretty sure it's today." he said. "Lace said she was going to stop by and bring her a gift."

Scott frowned and pulled out his phone, looking up the calendar and noting what day it was. He closed his eyes and blew out a slow breath. "I'm dead."

"You forgot her birthday and your anniversary this year? Pretty sure you will be dead." He nodded. "Unless well..." He looked at his phone to look at the time. "...you still have time to make it up to her." He shrugged.

"How?" he groaned. "She's already been giving me the cold shoulder today, I'm dead in the water now."

"I don't know man. Bring her some flowers or some shit, women like that."

"At this point flowers would be a slap in the face." he snorted. "I screwed up big time."

"Maybe but you know she'll forgive you." He said. "She always does. Just spend some one on one time with her."

"I gotta do something good." he said. "I don't wanna seem like I'm doing anything half-assed."

"Hmmmm. Flight somewhere?"

"Where are we gonna go in the dead of winter?"

"I don't know man, I'm just giving you a suggestion."

"Aghhhh." He groaned. "I'll call you when the divorce is final."

"You're not getting divorced." he snorted.

"Not too sure about that."

"Well then, drink up then since you're getting divorced?" he joked.

"Agh." he slammed his head down onto the table.

He snorted. "Should I get you a fucking keg to drink out of?" he asked amused.
