Birthday Time

Ellie woke up in a wonderful mood this morning because...it was her birthdayyyyy. It wasn't just any birthday, it was her first birthday where she wasn't alone, lol. When she was younger, her brothers weren't around, Katie was older than her and her Dad usually did his own thing. So, a lot of her birthdays were spent in her house alone, lol. She dropped Maddie and Ajay off at school, then went back home...still chipper. Spotting Colt sitting at the kitchen table, she wrapped her arms around his neck from behind and kissed his cheek. "Good morninggggg." she said happily.

"Mornin'." he chuckled. "What's got you so chipper this morning?"

"Oh nothing." she said. "Just feels like today will be a happy day." she smiled.

"Well if you're happy, I'm happy." he chuckled and leaned back to kiss her cheek.

"...mhm." she nodded a bit. He had to be messing with her. "So.." she said as she pulled away from him. "what are you going to do today?"

"Punk wants to hit up the gym today, so I'm gonna do that. After that... pretty much done for the day."

"Really? Nothing else planned or anything?"

He looked thoughtful for a moment before shaking his head. "Nope, all clear for the day. Why, did you want to do something tonight?"

"Uh...nah, it's cool." she said. "I'll stay in tonight." she nodded. "Anyway, I'll go...nap or something so you can go to the gym with Punk." He forgot my birthday. Pout.

"We'll both stay in and I'll give you a foot rub." he kissed her cheek before getting up. "Love ya, see you later."

"Bye." she said as she watched him leave and then pouted. "Worst birthday everrrrr.' she said as she stomped up the steps, lol. Lacy, Punk, Maddie and Ajay hadn't said Happy Birthday to her either lol. She would sulk.

Why would he forget her birthday? When he said he was going to the gym, he actually just went to finalize plans with the people that would be at her small get together for the night, but of course he didn't tell her that because it was supposed to be a surprise. lol.

He came back later that night, got dressed and went to see Ellie. "El? Get dressed, I feel like going to dinner."

She was laying on the bed and shook her head. "I don't feel like going out, so I'll stay behind. Take Punk with you or something."

"I want to take -you- to dinner. C'mon babe, we can order whatever you want."

She sighed. "I don't feel like getting dressed." she chuckled a bit as she sat up. "And I'm all fat anyway, nothing fits." she pouted.

"You're not fat." he went over to her and kissed the top of her head. "You're gorgeous. Put on a nice dress and some flats or something."

"Fineee." she said as she went to her closet to find something to wear. After destroying her closet, lol...she didn't like how any of her dresses fit on her, so she just wore this and put on a pair of flats. "Okay, ready." she said.

"You look great." he kissed her cheek and led her downstairs to the car.

"I guess." She said as she followed him to the car.

"There will be no second guessing here." he smirked. "I mean it, you look great." he kissed her cheek and opened the door for her.

"Fine, then thank you." she said as she went into the car.

He closed the door after her and went around to get in on the drivers side. "What's up with you? Earlier you were in this fantastic mood and now you can barely talk to me."

"I'm just tired and have a headache." she said. Lie? Duh, lol. "So I'm just ready for this day to be over."

"Hm." He said as he started to drive. She's gonna have a headache at her own party, lol. "I'm sorry. Hopefully dinner won't be too bad, then."

"I hope not." she shrugged. "Maybe I just need to stuff my face." she chuckled.
