Returning

"No no." he chuckled and carried her over to her crib, laying her in it. "Mommy give you a bottle?"

She didn't know what he said, so she just stuck her hand in her mouth, while using her other one to grab her feet.

He chuckled. "I'l get you a bottle so you can sleep." he said as he left her room to make her a bottle quickly before he came back up stairs. "here you are."

She let out an excited squeal and reached for it.

He chuckled and handed it to her, tucking her in and kissing her forehead. "Goodnight, Peanut."

She just babbled to him and stuck the bottle in her mouth to drink it.

"Love you too." he chuckled as he turned on her mobile nad her nightlight before leaving the room to go find Madison and Ajay. "Bed time, guys."

"Do we have to?" Maddie pouted.

"We don't have school at all this week." Ajay said.

"Yes, but Daddy is tired." he chuckled. "We'll stay up all night tomorrow and watch movies."

"Fineeeee." Ajay said.

"And I can cheer for you!" Maddie said. "I am a cheerleader now." she grinned. "One of the boys in my class said I look pretty with my uniform."

"Tell that boy that you have a big and strong daddy that's not afraid to beat him up." he chuckled and carried them off to their rooms.

"Why will you beat him up?" she giggled.

"Yeah, why?" Ajay asked.

"Because no little boy gets to mess with my cutie." he chuckled and kissed her cheek, putting her in her bed. "Good night."

She giggled and nodded. "Good night, Daddy." she said.

"...does that mean I can't say a girl is pretty or something?" Ajay asked him.

"You can say she's pretty but you have to prepare to deal with her crazy daddy." he chuckled and kissed Maddie's forehead before heading out with Ajay and taking him to his room. "In bed, bud."

"Hm, maybe I will just not say a girl is pretty." he said as he climbed into bed. "Did you have to meet Mommy's Dad?"

"No." He said. "But I'm just that cool." He joked and leaned in to kiss his cheek while tucking him in. "Rest well, bud."

He laughed. "Okay, good night." he said as he closed his eyes to sleep.

He turned his light off and headed out before going to his room. "Kids are in bed." he said.

She was putting lotion on her legs, when Colt walked in. "Yayyyy." she said. "Go on and shower then, I left you plenty of hot water."

"Next time we're gonna save water." He winked at her and went into the bathroom to shower.

She snorted and put the bottle of lotion away, then sat on the bed waiting for him to come out.

He came out a couple moments later in a t-shirt and shorts, climbing into bed next to her and wrapping his arms around her, nuzzling her neck. "I missed you."

"I missed you too." she said as she wrapped her arms around him. "It was weird having you away for that long."

"It was torture being away from you."
