Returning

"You're surprising her?" Maddie asked, then sighed dreamily. Here we go. "You are her Prince Charming.' she grinned.

"I wanna throw up." Ajay frowned at Maddie.

He snorted. "Not on me, you don't," he sat them down and went upstairs. "Mrs. Colton?"

Ellie had just put Sophia down in her rocker and was looking for something in Sophia's closet, when she heard him. She got startled and hit her head against the shelf a little, lol. She muttered fuck to herself and then grinned when she turned to see Colt. She ran to him and jumped up, wrapping her arms around his neck. "You're home!"

He chuckled and wrapped his arms around her waist, rubbing the top of her head gently. "And you've just concussed yourself." he teased her.

"Shut up." she laughed. "I was a little startled." she said. "I've missed you."

"Well Daddy's home now." he joked as he kissed her softly.

"Good, cause I missed Daddy." she chuckled as she returned his kiss. Sophia, who was distracted by the toys on her rocker, looked over and let out a loud squeal, kicking her feet in excitement. She was so excited that she peed and let out a fart.

He chuckled and looked over at Sophie, letting Ellie down. "Hi Peanut." he went over to her.

She let out a happy giggle and grinned, reaching for him.

He picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Daddy missed you."

She grinned and put her hand up to try and touch his cheek. "She's missed you too." Ellie said as she went back to putting Sophia's stuff away. "I know that because she gives me a hard time when you're not here." she snorted.

Well I know that's not true because Sophie is an angel, aren't you?" he kissed the baby's forehead.

She smiled up at him, agreeing with him. Ellie snorted. "Figures. How was your flight?" she asked as she turned to face him.

"Long and miserable." he chuckled. "I'm just glad to be home." he put Sophia back down in her rocker.

She chuckled and wrapped her arms around his waist. "And it's great to have you home." she said as she kissed his cheek. "Why don't you go shower and relax?" she suggested. "You've had a long day. I'll make you something to eat."

He chuckled. "Don't worry about it. How about I put everyone to bed and then I'll join you after a shower."

"Are you sure?"

"Positive." he said.

"Okay then." she shrugged. "I'm gonna go shower then."

"Go shower, you smell." he joked.

"You know, I don't think I missed having you around that much." she joked as she left to go shower.

Sophia just let out a sound to remind him that she was there lol...and needed another diaper change.

He chuckled and looked over at Sophia. "Did you mess up your diaper?" he chuckled and went over to her.

She cooed and touched her onesie where her diaper would be and started to tug on it.

"Alright alright." he chuckled and changed her quickly, tossing away her dirty diaper. "There, all clean." he picked her up and kissed her cheek. "Ready for bed?"

She pouted and tried to get out of his arms.
