"...is that my woman?" Punk smirked. "Open it man. It's your place."

He rolled his eyes and went to go get the door and saw Lacy, stumbling back when she shoved him back.

"Are you fucking stupid? She's pregnant and you flip out on her?!" She yelled at him, punching him in the arm.

"Ow! Hey!" He rubbed his arm.

Punk again, didn't know what to do. "Relax.' he said. "You shouldn't hurt him because it'll probably make Ellie upset."

"You're not in this." she snapped at Punk. "And clearly he's already upset Ellie by being a fucking pussy instead of manning up and accepting the fact that he knocked her up."

"I'm standing right here, you know."

"Good! Because you need to hear it instead of listening to everyone else like this guy," she motioned to Punk, "tell you that you're right to walk out on your girlfriend." She said.

"Whoa now hold on, I never told him it was the right thing to do." he told her.

"Well you didn't fucking tell him he was wrong or else he'd be down there on his knees begging for forgiveness." she snapped. "I don't even want to hear you right now, this has nothing to do with you."

"You need to leave." Scott scoffed. "It's none of your business either."

"Ellie is my best friend, and I knew she was pregnant before you did, you fucking ass. She has to quit her job at the bar because of you, and you won't even support her." She glared at him. "Well don't bother, because she doesn't need you." she rolled her eyes before she turned and stormed out.

"Christ." Punk said as he let out a whistle. "Don't listen to her man."

"She's right." he shook his head.

"What are you going to do?" he asked. "I think you need to just...try and chill out for a while before you go talk to her or whatever."

"I can't talk to her anyway without her bulldog friend trying to rip my head off."

"So basically, you'll never get to talk to her." he said. "Just let things cool off."

He rolled his eyes. "You heard Lacy. She doesn't want to talk to me."

"You never know."

He sighed. "Well I can't go now."

"Just wait a while until the coast is clear. Or maybe pay her a visit by where she works or something."

"Lacy just said she's not working." he said.

"At the bar. Doesn't she work at a diner or something too?"

"Fuck, she was barely making it with two jobs, she can't make it with just that."

"She'll probably go off and look for another job." he said. "From what I've seen she's pretty smart, so I'm sure she'll have a back up plan."

He shook his head. "this is all my fault."

"It takes two people to make a baby." he said. "She wasn't on anything?"

"She told me she was. And we haven't had a problem with it until.. fucking now." He said. "Do you think she did this on purpose?"

"I don't know." he said. "I mean, she doesn't look like the type to be so crazy to do that."

"Looks can be deceiving." he muttered.

"You think she did?"
