The Plan

Lacy stood outside of her bedroom, biting her lip. She had come up with a plan to get Brandon to warm up to Phil again. It wasn't the most ethical plan and she wouldn't be surprised if Phil chewed her out but she needed to try. She went into the room and saw Punk watching tv. "Can we talk?"

He looked over at her and then nodded. "Yeah, sure." he said as he lowered the tv a little. "What's up?"

"I know you want Brandon on your side. I want that too. And Brandon thinks I'm not happy with you. So why don't we just.. Pretend?"

"Pretend? How?"

"Us pretending that we're happy again. When Brandon sees it long enough then he'll warm up to you again."

"And then when we stop pretending? What happens then?"

"...I haven't thought about that." She said. "I can see on your face that you hate this and you want to chew me a new one, so just go ahead."

"I'm not going to do that." he said. "I'm just asking because I don't want this plan to backfire and have it all shitty again, but I'll do it." he nodded. "If Brandon even warms up to me again."

"It's our best shot. I don't know if we can ever fix this," she motioned between them. "But we can fix your relationship with Brandon."

"Well like I said, I'm down and will give it a shot."

"I didn't want to lead you on." She said.

"It's cool." he shook his head. "I'm not expecting anything, I did say that I would be patient and wasn't going to push anything." he nodded.

"A lot of guys would be pretty mad at their wives faking it with them."

"Yeah well..." he shrugged. "It's about Brandon right now and how to get him...happier."

She was silent for a moment. "And us?"

"And us too." He nodded. "We will work on being happier and focus on us, but we have to focus more on Brandon."

"...okay then. Good talk."

"Indeed." He nodded. "So, how do we start?"

"I guess we just start by being nicer and ease into it."

"Okay, sounds good."

"Well good." she nodded. "So we can start whenever."

"Okay." he said. "Um...so I don't know. Should we cuddle or something now?"

"Brandon's not here." She said. "But if you want I guess we can."

"Then lets cuddle." he said as he moved over on the bed.

She got into the bed and went next to him.
