"Lace." he frowned. "Why?"

"I don't know." she said. "It's not like I have anything else to do."

"....you could have come to me." he told her. "I know we're taking some time apart but I'm still here for you no matter what."

"I can't come to you." She said. "It's my fault we're like this, and I'm miserable, so I drink." She said simply. "But you? You look like you're doing okay by yourself, which proves that you don't need me to bringing all of this stress into your life. And that's all I ever wanted, was for you to be happy. So I'm calling the lawyer tomorrow to file for papers."

"Are you kidding? Lace, I've been miserable ever since you left. To me, you looked to be fine without me and I didn't want you to see me looking pathetic. You could ask Ellie, I go to her house to hang out with Scott and the conversation always ends up being about you. I'm constantly asking about you." he said as he shook his head. "Sitting home in silence all day is something I don't like doing. I want you and the kids back. I miss you guys so much."

"Don't do this, Phil." she shook her head lightly.

"Don't do what? Tell you how I really feel and that I want you back?" he asked as he shook his head. "I don't get it. You said that by us being apart, it would help...but it hasn't done that at all. How is it going to work if you don't even want to come back?" he said. "I'm trying really hard to have you back in my life. Yeah, I'm a shitty husband but I'll work on it. I'll make you happy again." he told her.

"It's not that I don't want to come back." She said. She didn't shake her head because she was nauseous. "It's that you're better off without me. Don't you get that?"

"No, I don't get that." he said. "Because I don't think that or believe it."

"Well that's what I believe." Lacy said. "You were so much happier before we got married, just admit it, alright?"

"I'm not admitting it because it's not true." he said as he shook his head.

"Fine." She shrugged gently.

He shook his head. "Yeah, fine." he said. "I'll say bye to the kids, then leave." he said as he just left her room, not bothering to hear anything she had to say. He went to where the kids were. "Alright, I'm back." he said as he sat on the floor and figured he would play with Jack and Carly a little before he left. "Did you two keep Jack and Carly in check?"

Ally looked unhappy, crossing her arms with a frown.

"We heard you and Mommy." Brandon said. "You did break up."

He sighed a bit and nodded. "We are taking a break." he told them.

"And we're never gonna live at the other house again." Brandon said, and that made Ally start to cry.

Punk frowned and pulled them both over, kissing their cheeks and wiping Ally's tears. "Look guys, when people get married and they are together for a long time, sometimes they fight." he nodded. "It sucks big time, but I am trying to make everything better. I want you guys to come home already." he told them.

"Everytime you two break up, we gotta leave for a long time." Ally continued to cry.

"I know and I'm sorry you guys. I don't want you guys to go through this." he said as he kissed her forehead. "I'm going to fix it." he nodded and promised. He hated for them to have to deal with this too.

"I just want us all to be together forever." she snuffled.

"Me too." he nodded. "Me too." he said as he rubbed her back. "But hey, at least I'm still around right? And you guys can be with me at the other house."

"But everybody needs to be at the other house." Brandon said.

"Like I said, I am working very hard on getting everybody there."

"Try again Daddy? Please?" she looked up at him through her lashes.

Damn her cute face, lol. "Fine, I will try again. It's all up to Mommy to say yes." he told her as he kissed her forehead.
