What If? III

"He's cute." he chuckled and saw Ellie. And so is she.

"Of course, he looks like me." he chuckled. "Wanna hold him?" he asked.

"Waiiiit, one more picture." Ellie chuckled as she took a picture of Brandon and Punk. "There. D'aw, cute." she said as she looked the picture over and then looked over at Colt. "Oh...hi." she chuckled a bit. "I'm Punk and Lacy's friend, Ellie."

"Nah, you hang out with him." he chuckled a little. "I'll hold him another time." he turned to Ellie and introduced himself. "I'm Scott. For some reason, Punk here likes to call me Colt." he chuckled.

"Good cause I wasn't gonna give him to you anyway." he chuckled.

"Scott." she nodded. "Well, he just calls me...Ellie." Dork, lol.

He ignored Punk, lol. "Well, Ellie, you have a pretty name."

"Colt, do not try to romance my friend." Lacy snorted.

"Thanks." she blushed.

"Uh...I agree with Lacy here. Please, no." he said. "Brandon doesn't like it either." he nodded. "Frown at them, bud.''

Brandon looked up at Phil blankly before letting out another one of his cheesy grins.

"I think it's up to Ellie to decide if she likes it or not." he chuckled.

Punk chuckled. "You're so cute." he said as he kissed Brandon's cheek.

"I don't mind it, so I like it.'' she said...then collected her thoughts, lol. "So um, is your family here too?" she asked Colt.

"He is." Lacy laughed a little, watching them. It made her cry, lol.

"Nah." he shook his head. "My family's back in Chicago."

Punk looked over at her and kissed her cheek. "We're gonna be much better now, Lace."

"Oh." she frowned. "Well, that's a shame that nobody is here for you." she said...then groaned to herself. "That sounded wrong. I didn't mean it in a bad way."

"Yeah." She nodded. "I know." Or at least, she hoped so. The other wives on the base were quick to let her know about all the -bad- things that could happen after someone returned from war. Unlike the other wives though, her husband wasn't going back to war to make things worse.

"I get it." he laughed a little. "No harm done."

"Good." He said as he put Brandon in the stroller. "I say we all go out to eat cause I'm starving."

"Okay." She smiled a bit at Colt and when Punk suggested food, she agreed and went to put the camera away...but of course made herself look like a fool as she bumped into the stroller, lol.

The stroller rolled away a little and Lacy caught it, lol. "Jesus Ellie, trying to give my kid away?"

"Huh? Oh...psh, no." She said. "I'm uh...gonna meet you at the car." Woman was gonna scold herself on the way there, lol.

"Look at what you did, Colton." He teased. "And that is your friend." He told Lacy.

"I didn't do anything." He chuckled. "I'm gonna call a cab and get back to the base. I'll see you later, man."

"Yeah yeah." she laughed a little and pulled Brandon's stroller in front of her.

"You sure you don't wanna come and eat with us?" He asked as he carried his bag.

"I've just spent the last nine months with you. I don't wanna see you anymore." He joked.

"Dick." He chuckled. "I'll see you later then."

Scott said his goodbyes and left. Since Ellie ran away lol, that'd give Punk and Lacy sometime to catch up as they walked to the car.

"So have I missed anything else?"

"Not that I can think of." She laughed a little as she started to push Brandon's stroller. "I'm just glad you're here."

"Me too." He said. "All I talked about while I was gone was you and Brandon. I think the guys got sick of me."

"Well, i could never get sick of you.

"Good because I'll be around for a long time."

"Do you know what you want to do now that you're home?"
