Been a Long Time

Conner had invited his family over to his and Ashley's place so they could finally meet her and of course Claire. Granted, he knew that this wouldn't be the most pleasant of visits since they didn't even know about him getting married, let alone having a child. He made sure the house looked decent and picked Claire up from the floor. "You're gonna meet your grandparents today~! Ignore how mean they are to Daddy, okay?" he smiled. Claire just giggled.

"Ashley! You need help with anything?" he called.

Ashley was just getting an outfit out for Claire to wear. She wanted her to wear something cute to meet her grandparents. "Nope, I'm good. Just bring Claire up please!"

"Alright!" he called before taking Claire upstairs so Ashley could change her outfit. "I still say we should let Claire run around naked with a diaper around her head."

"Yeah...no." she chuckled as she grabbed Claire and started to change her into her outfit. "Then they'll think we're horrible parents."

"Part of the fun, right?" he grinned. "But Claire does look awfully cute...don't you?" he grinned to his daughter.

Claire giggled and smiled at him as she crawled over to him. "Oh she knows it."

"Of course she does~!" he smiled, picking her up again.

She laughed a bit as she finished getting ready. "So how long until they get here?"

He looked at the clock. "About 20 minutes...got time for a quickie." he smirked, wiggling his eyebrows suggestively at Ashley.

"You're funny." she snorted.

"Aww...you don't wanna?" he pouted playfully.

"Not now." she chuckled. "Especially since Claire is wide awake."

"But if I'm a good boy will I be rewarded later?" he winked.

She nodded. "If you're a good boy." she chuckled.

"Awesome." he cheesed. "When did you feed Claire last?"

"An hour ago." she said.

"Sweet...let's hope she needs to be changed soon." he chuckled.

"Preferably before your family gets here."

He nodded. "Did she burp?"

"Yes." she chuckled. "She has done everything today."

"Because she's the best baby ever!" he grinned.

"She sure is." she said as she kissed Claire's cheek as Claire let out a giggle.

He smiled at his daughter before he heard the doorbell. He looked at the clock. "They're early...greaaaat." he laughed as he got up with Claire to go answer the door.

"...we should have drank before they got here." she joked.

"Didn't I say that this morning?" he laughed.
