He smiled. "Good." He said as he got both Madison and Ajay into their car seats and opened the door for Ellie to get in. "Do you guys want to sit inside and eat or should we just grab some slices to go?"

Ellie got in the car. "I think we should take them to go, they'll probably end up falling asleep on the way home anyway."

"No problem." He said as he started to drive to the pizzeria. "So, did -you- enjoy yourself tonight? I know your didn't envision our first date being with your two kids and all." He chuckled.

She laughed a little and nodded. "I did enjoy myself, I had a lot of fun."

"I'm glad." He smiled a little as he turned a corner. "Now don't think I'm a cheap date. I can get quite fancy when I want to be."

"However fancy you'd like me to be." He laughed a little. "I can do the five star restaurants and woo you with flowers... or we can catch a home game and enjoy ourselves there."

"I think I'd enjoy home games more. Fancy restaurants are nice and all...but meh." she chuckled.

"Cool, 'cause it's not really in my budget." He gave her a silly grin before turning into the parking lot of the pizzeria. "Any particular pizza you want?"

"Uh, I just like cheese on mine. They like pepperoni, so we could do half if you want."

"Cheese? How boring," he ribbed her.

"Shut up." she laughed. "Leave me and my boring cheese pizza alone."

"I will go and get your boring cheese pizza." He snorted and went into the pizzeria, making sure to lock the doors before he did.

She shook her head in amusement and then looked back at the kids....who of course did fall asleep, lol.

Scott came out a short while later with a bag in his hand, getting back into the car. "So, I got two slices of pepperoni for Madison and Ajay, and two slices of cheese for you, m'lady."

"Of course it does, it's Chicago pizza." He grinned as he started the car back up. "Home?"

Scott drove them home and parked outside in front of her house. "Need any help?"

Scott nodded and got out of the car, going to pick Ajay out of the car gently as to not disturb him.

Ellie grabbed Madison and then started to carry her to the house.

"Of course." she nodded as she unlocked the front door and walked inside, heading to Maddie's room. "His room is next to hers." she said as she nodded her head in the direction of Ajay's room.

Scott went to the next room and put Ajay in his crib, covering him up before walking out and closing the door slightly.
