Honey, I'm Home!

Candice was excited as the taxi dropped her off at her home. She had been away for quite some time, doing all this traveling and promoting for the company. While she was honored to visit so many beautiful countries in Asia, she missed being home and missed her husband dearly. Instead of stopping in another state and spending a night in a hotel, she asked for the first flight out to North Carolina and hopped on it, she couldn't bear to spend another night away from Jeff. It was one in the morning when she made it home and she was tired, but happy to be there. Candice paid the taxi driver and grabbed her bags, going into the house quietly. She put her bags down and then headed up to their room, seeing Jeff sleeping away. She smiled to herself a bit and changed for bed, then climbed into the bed, kissing Jeff's cheek. "Jeff, I'm home."

Jeff jumped a little. He was expecting to get a heads up from Candice and go pick her up from the airport. He never expected this. He looked around and saw Candice there. "What the..." he said, rubbing over his face and looked at the clock. "Am I dreaming?" he asked softly. "Candy...you're home...?"

Candice chuckled to herself a bit. "You're not dreaming, I'm home baby." she smiled.

Jeff couldn't hide his smile as he pulled his wife into bed with him. He held her close and kissed her deeply, his hands now buried in her hair. He had missed her so much and he planned on showing her.

Candice let out a giggle as she returned his kiss with the same amount of passion and wrapped her arms around him. "I've missed you so much." she managed to get out.

He pulled away to breathe and gently ran his hand to cup her face and down her neck. "You can't leave like that again." he smirked. "At least not without me." he said as he stole another kiss.

"I wouldn't dare leave you again. I'd buy a suitcase big enough to pack you with me." she chuckled.

He grinned. "Good...god you must be exhausted..." he said softly.

She nodded. "I am but I don't want to fall asleep right now. I've missed you way too much and I rushed home to see you, not fall asleep on you."

"Well...I kinda was sleeping when you came home...why don't we get some sleep tonight...and then tomorrow..." he smirked. "We use all our energy to our advantage." he grinned.

"Oh, I love that I married such a smart man." she giggled. "That is a wonderful idea."

He smiled. "I was always thinking about what it'd be like when you came home...then I realized you would have been on a plane for over 12 hours." he explained. "So...now that we're both drowsy...we get a good night's rest, sleep in, and then spend all day catching up properly." he smirked as he stole one more kiss.

"Sounds so ideal." she replied as she kissed him back.

"Then let's do it." he smiled.

"Okay." she said as she pulled the covers over her and then snuggled into Jeff. "Good night."

"Good night, beautiful." he smiled, holding her close.

She threw her arm across his waist and fell asleep.

Candice glanced over at the clock the next morning and saw that it was a little past 10 in the morning. She rubbed her eyes a bit and let out a small yawn.

He had woken up about 30 minutes earlier to let the dogs out and feed them their breakfast. He got back to the bedroom and grinned. "Morning, sunshine." he smiled.

"Good Morning." she smiled. "You woke up early." she said.

"Nah...besides the babies needed me." he laughed as he got back into bed with her.

"Ah." she nodded. "God I've missed this."

"Me too...feels amazing."

"Well as far as I know, I won't be going away on any other tours anytime soon."

"good...because I don't know if I can handle it." he said softly. "Plus it'd be nice to have a fellow babysitter when I have to watch Maddie and Ajay." he laughed.

"Ah yes." she laughed a little. "Don't think I've ever seen Ajay, Madison yes. Are they a handful?"
