Those Vows

Lacy was in the bridal room, putting on her dress. She was glad that she had friends outside of wrestling that could do her favors or else they never would have been able to pull this wedding off in this short amount of time. Honestly, she didn't care if it was a wedding or not, because she and Phil didn't really do stuff like this, but all Lacy cared about was the vows. She'd never gotten to do them before and hated it when she had to go to weddings and watch other people do theirs. It was her turn, damn it. lol.

Colt and Ellie had been more excited for the wedding than she was, lol. She didn't know if Colt and Phil did a "bachelor's party" but Lacy didn't want a bachelorette party, so she convinced Ellie to stay in with her so they could watch movies and things like that, since Colt and Ellie were adamant about Punk and Lacy not seeing each other 24 hours before the wedding. She thought it was a stupid rule, and told them that, and that only got Phil taken away faster. So she hasn't seem him for a whole day, and she was a little annoyed. lol.

"Okay, here I come..." she said and walked out of the bathroom into the main room, showing it off to Ellie and the other people in there. "Does it look okay or should I run for the hills?" She asked with a nervous laugh.

"Mommy! Pretty!" Allison giggled, running around in her onesie.

"Why are you not dressed." She laughed a little.

"Guh Lacy! You look gorgeous." Ellie grinned. "Ugh, shame all that hard work will be a waste once the ceremony is over. Phil will just rip----"

"Layley! You princess today." Madison grinned.

Ellie chuckled. "Yep, a princess. It looks great on you and well, Ally didn't want to get dressed yet. She loves her onesie."

"It's daddy." Ally grinned, talking about her shirt. "I love it."

Lacy snorted at Ally and looked at Maddie. "Well thank you Maddie." She laughed a little. "You look very pretty, too."

"Daddy." Brandon pouted and struggled to take his bowtie off. "I don't like it. I want it off."

Ellie chuckled and adjusted her dress a bit. "Daddy's girl, I see." she teased Lacy.

"Thank you Layley." Madison said as she twirled in her dress.

Punk was looking in the mirror, adjusting his own tie and chuckled at Brandon. They were alike in so many ways. "Yeah I know kid." he said, then got an idea. "Come here, I'll take it off and give you something better." he said. "Hey Colt, pass me my bag real quick and my hair gel and comb."

"All of my kids eventually turn on me." She laughed a little as she looked in the mirror, messing with her hair a little. "Are you sure I look okay?" She asked before she turned to take Allison's onesie off and put on her dress. Allison pouted. lol.

Brandon went over to Punk.

Colt got his bag and hair gel, passing it over to him suspiciously. "What are you doing?"

"Positive. You look amazing." she nodded.

"You'll see." he said as he nodded his thanks and then went into his bag. He had an extra clip on tie for Brandon, cause he had a feeling the bowtie wouldn't be on for long. He replaced it with that and then once he put it on him, he combed Brandon's hair and slicked it back with some gel. Like father, like son, lol. "There. Now you look ten times cooler."

"And so do you," she laughed a little as she got Allison in her dress. "See Ally? Now you're pretty just like Maddie."

"I like daddy's shirt better." Allison shrugged. "But I look good."

"Cocky, cocky children." She laughed a little.

"I look like you." Brandon grinned excitedly.

"Oh Lord," Colt shook his head.

"Thank you Lacy." Ellie smiled, then laughed a little at Allison. "Well I mean, they are your children." she joked.

"You do." he said, then looked at Colt. "Jealous buddy?"

"Hush." She chuckled and kneeled down to Maddie's height. "Now, you remember what to do when it's time to pass the flowers out, right?" She asked her.

"A little bit," Colt said jokingly. "Almost time for you to go out in a bit, isn't it?"

Maddie nodded. "Yep, I have to throw them gently."

Punk chuckled and then nodded. "Yeah, almost time."

"Yes, and when Ally wants to throw, you have to let her throw. No being a flower hog." She laughed a little.

"Nervous?" Colt asked him as he picked Brandon up and fixed his tie.

Maddie giggled. "Okay."

"Is it time to go out yet?" Ellie asked.

"Kinda." he said. "Just...don't want to look like a fool out there."

Lacy looked at the clock before handing Madison and Allison their baskets. "About 15 minutes, so I guess we should go before I run out of here and take a cab home?" She laughed a little.

"But you look like a fool everyday," Colt joked lightly, trying to cheer him up. "Why are ya worried about it today?"

"I'd make sure that doesn't happen." she said. "Let's get a move on then."

He shrugged. "Just worried that something will go wrong, since clearly...this year hasn't been the best year for us."

"I'm so nervous." She laughed a little as she lifted her dress a little so she wouldn't step on it and started to make her way out.

"Hey man, good things come to those who wait." He said as he put Brandon down and handed him the pillow with the rings on the pillow. "Don't drop this, okay?"

"Kay." Brandon said, holding it steady.

Colt turned his attention back to Punk. "I mean, you love the girl, right? Or else you wouldn't have stuck around. Everything's gonna be fine, 2012 is your year. Look at this thing as just starting the new year off on a good note."

"Why?" she chuckled. "You should be excited."

He nodded. "Yeah I guess it'll be a good start."

"I don't know what to feel right now." She laughed a little.

"You'll be fine. I have to go meet up with your lady, I'll see you out there." Colt patted his back before heading out.

"Ready daddy?" Brandon asked.

"Excited." Ellie nodded. "It's finally your day all over again and it's going to be so nice."

He nodded at Colt, then looked at Brandon. "Yep, I am. Are you?"

"Scott is gonna trip me or I'm gonna mess up on my vows or something." She said she grabbed her bouquet.

"Ladies." Colt grinned. "I do believe I have to walk the maid of honor down first." He offered his arm as he heard the music start.

"Yeah. Then we can go home and finish our game of CandyLand. I was winning." Brandon grinned.

Ellie chuckled and linked her arm with his. "That you do." she said.

Punk laughed. "Well then we must finish it."

Colt started to walk her down the aisle.

Brandon heard the music. "We go now?"

"Mhm, let's go." he said.

Brandon ran out of the room as fast as he could without dropping the pillow. He ran into Lacy who was standing by the door, waiting for Colt to come back.

"Hi mommy!" Brandon said as he saw her.

"Shh," she shushed him lightly, and he did. She waited until she saw Punk get up to the altar and take his place. "Okay girls, go." She pushed Allison and Madison out towards the aisle gently.

"Kay." Madison said as she started to walk out with Ally.

Miraculously, nothing had gone wrong with those two, lol, and she sent Brandon out next. Colt snuck up behind her, and she jumped. "Jesus!"

"It's just me." She chuckled.

"Everyone please rise for the bride."

Her music started to play and she took Colt's arm, finally stepping out on the aisle. "Don't let me fall Colt, I swear if you do," she said lowly through a smile as she gripped his hand for dear life. lol.
