"Kinda what happens when you work out." She teased and moved from his embrace. "Fine then, go and shower, and I'll just sit down here, all lonely and pregnant." She joked.

"Fine. I'll be back in a bit." he said as he went to go shower.

She shook her head. While he was in the shower, she took her vitamins and threw on some jeans. She checked on Brandon and Allison and surely enough, they were still asleep. Hm. She didn't get them to bed all that late, maybe they were just really tired. Whatever, she needed the break. She loved them to death, but they tired her out and with this kid on the way, she didn't know how much energy she would have, if she had any at all.

She called Scott and told him that she gave Phil the tickets, having to chuckle when he marked out over the fact that he was going to a baseball game (even though he'd been to like, 80 billion of them). She hung up the phone and went in the living room to watch tv.

Phil had showered and changed into a pair of jeans and his Cubs jersey, just so he was ready for later. He went downstairs and went by Lacy. "Hungry?" he asked. "Think I'm gonna have cereal or something."

"Okay." he said as he went into the kitchen.

Truth was, she hadn't had much of an appetite because of the kid in her stomach, and sometimes if she ate it would come back up. Thanks, but no thanks. After a little while, she got up and went into the kitchen, seeing him making his cereal. She climbed up on the counter as she always did (with no way of getting down unless she jumped to her death, damn her for being short) and sat on it cross-legged. "You know, I'm glad you're home."
