"Feels gross." They were complaining, because happy and quiet parents are not good parents. The techinician turned on the machine and put the gel on her stomach before pressing the sensor to her stomach.

"Would you like to know the sex of your child?" The tech asked and moved the sensor around to find the baby on the monitor.

"Nothing," she told him with a small laugh.

"Ready to hear the news?" The technician asked.

"Yep."

"Your husband wins," the tech chuckled lightly before smiling. "Congratulations, you two are having a girl. There she is," she pointed on the screen.

"Well now we know." She laughed lightly.

The technician turned off the machine, helped clean Lacy up, and put her shirt back down. "I'll be back in a bit with your sonogram."

Lacy nodded as the technician walked out. She looked over at Phil with a small smile. "Good job."
