One Year Later

She smiled as well as she placed his ring on his finger. "With this ring, I thee wed." she grinned.

"If there is anyone who believes that these two should not be married, speak now or forever hold your peace."

When no one responded, he grinned.

"Now, by the power vested in me by the state of Georgia, I pronounce you...still man and wife. You may kiss your bride." he smiled.

The second the priest said he could, he leaned in and kissed ellie passionately.

Ellie grinned as she kissed AJ in return and everybody started clapping.

"Yay!" Madison clapped.

Lacy smiled softly and clapped as they kissed.

As soon as they pulled apart, he took her hand and they walked back up the aisle.

Maddie and everybody else followed them. "Wait! Wait for me!" Madison said with a pout. Ellie chuckled and held Madison's hand. "Aw, we're not going to forget you."

She chuckled as she walked behind AJ and Ellie and stayed behind a bit to let them have a moment together.

AJ smiled as he picked Maddie up and they all walked together to head to the reception.

"I hope you're not planning a big wedding either." Phil joked with Lacy.

"I'm so glad we decided to do this." Ellie smiled at AJ. "That and I didn't trip walking down the aisle. It's what I was really worried about."

AJ laughed. "that would be what you were worried about...I would love you even if you did trip."

"Our ceremony was in a courthouse. We didn't even do vows. Think we're okay." She chuckled.

"I know you would...my face wouldn't love me though." she chuckled. "I'd probably have a broken nose. Not a good look on me."

"Nice thing to say to your wife." She remarked sarcastically as Brandon shifted in Phil's arms.

"You love me though." he said as he readjusted Brandon a bit. "Settled now?" he asked with a chuckled as he looked at Brandon.
