New Ink (Jeff and Candice)

Jeff had just returned from the tattoo parlor and he was excited to show Candice his new tattoo on his ring finger. He wouldn't be able to wear his wedding ring for a few days, but he put it on a chain to keep around his neck for the time being.

He was greeted by the dogs and smiled as he played with them for a little bit. Picking up Trouble, he walked around as Maverick followed them. "Candice? Baby?" he called.

"Laundry room!" Candice called back, folding the last shirt and placing it on top of the pile in the laundry basket.

Jeff went over to the laundry room and set the dog down. He walked in and smiled, watching her. "Hey beautiful...can I steal away from the laundry? I wanna show you something."

She laughed. "Of course you can steal me away from laundry. Laundry is boring. What's up?"

He chuckled. "Well...baby, I can't wear my wedding ring for a few days." he said as if it was gonna be bad news.

Candice's expression fell. "What?"

"Well...because...see." he said holding out his left hand for her to see. "I got this new tattoo...and I have to leave it alone for a few days...take a look." he said showing her his latest addition.

Candice took a step closer to examine the tattoo and felt her breath catch in her throat. "Jeff!" Her eyes flooded with tears. "It's beautiful!"

(hehe I thought it was about time )

He smiled, wiping at her eyes. "I know you are but what do you think of the tattoo?" he winked as he kissed her. "I love you...and I'm still wearing my ring...just around my neck for the next few days...and this is for when I'm wrestling." he smiled.

"I love you too." She kissed him back soundly. "You are the most incredible man I ever met."

"And you're the most amazing woman I've ever known." he smiled, kissing her deeply.
