"It wasn't necessarily bad. It's just I kind of needed him when I was going through some stuff and he was never around. I mean, I get that he was away doing things for work, but I'm pretty sure Vince or Katie would have allowed him to come and be by my side after everything I went through." she says thinking a bit.

"I mean I want someone who will actually be around and we can actually hang out, you know? I guess I just fell out of love with him." she shrugs.

He listened to her. "Yeah...that makes sense." he said softly. "I'm glad you were able to figure that kind of thing out." he told her.

"I'm sure you'll find someone that will appreciate you and actually be there for you through everything." he smiled, silently wishing he could possibly be that guy.

"You never know, maybe, just maybe he's already here." she says as she bit her lip.

She frowns a bit then takes a sip of her soda. Obviously, he didn't understand what she was saying, but to her, he didn't want to be the guy. She pushed all her thoughts aside as their food came.

He said a quick thanks to the waiter as he started to eat. "So how's your food?"

"Delicious." he said with a small smile as he started on his mashed potatoes. Now things felt awkward. Had he said or done something wrong?
