"Dirty" Run-In (Conner and Ashley)

Conner went to see Stephanie yesterday and the bitch slapped him and told him he wouldn't be getting a title shot. That pissed him off, but not as much as the fact that now his cheek was bruised and slightly swollen. She had slapped him with the hand her wedding and engagement rings were on. He rubbed over his cheek a little. His face was his money maker! He couldn't afford for it to be damaged like this.

He didn't care where he was. He pulled out his pack of cigarettes and lit one up. Ah, the sweet nicotine tasted so good. There was a mirror in the hallway and he continued to look at the mark left on him.

"I don't even have a fucking match in this thing and what do I have to show for it? A bruise on my face." he growled into the mirror.

Ashley was walking around the hallway since she had nothing to do at the Pay Per View, besides an interview. Adjusting her top and smoothing out her hair, she stopped and heard someone. Turning her head to the right, she smirked as she saw Conner.

"Well well well, fancy meeting you here." she chuckles.

"What's wrong?" she asked as she approached him.

He snapped his head towards her. "what do you want?" he asked, blowing a puff of smoke away from her. He wa spissed off but he wouldn't do something that mean...at least to someone he could tolerate.

Ashley rolled her eyes at his tone.

"Hello to you too sunshine. I just wanted to see what was wrong." she shrugged.

He turned to face her and pointed at his face. "This!" he snapped.

Ashley gasped.

"What happened?"

"That fucking bitch Stephanie McMahon slapped me!" he snapped, taking another drag off his cigarette.

"Well what did you do to her?" she asked curiously, but slightly amused at his actions.

"I went to her office to ask about a title shot!" he said. "I said I deserved one...and I really do and she said she wasn't gonna give me one!"

"If I can't get a title shot, what makes you think you're getting one?" she asked.

"Have you even had a match yet?"

"Not yet...but at least put me in the runnign for one dammit!" he huffed grabbing another cigarette.

"They have to see how you perform and what the crowds reaction is towards you. They just can't hand it to you when you want it."

He rolled his eyes. "The title hasn't shifted or changed around in too long. If anything let me take the title from Jeff HArdy...the guy is useless anyway." she snorted.

"All he's good for is keeping little kids interested since he still acts like a kid himself. He really needs to grow up." he rolled his eyes.

"He does it for his fans and so what if he acts like a little kid at times. At least he knows how to have fun and goof off sometimes. That's what makes him so lovable." she shrugged.

"Lovable?" he snorted. "You've got to be kidding."

"Ugh, why are you being such a jerk about it?"

"Hey I'm just being honest." he pointed out.

She rolled her eyes in amusement.

"Fine. Anyway, I think you should get that cut on your cheek cleaned up."

"Bitch is lucky I don't sue her." he growled.

"Even if you did, she'd win."

He grumbled a few curses because he knew she was right.

Ashley smirks a bit.

"So I'm right then?"

"I never said that." he snapped.
