Needing Help

Katie walked into the Smackdown arena then smiled at the backstage crew members as they greeted her. She was walking to Stephanie McMahon's office and needed to ask her a favor. With everything that's happened to her recently she needed help with Raw and everything else. She approached Stephanie's office then knocked on the door then waited.

Stephanie was talkign with Aurora on the phone. "Come in!" she called. Katie walked in and Stephanie smiled.

"Okay honey...I have to go...I love you. Bye sweetheart." she smiled, hanging up. "Hey Katie...how are you? Please...have a seat." she said as she got up. "Would you like a cup of coffee or anything?"

"I'm okay and no I don't need anything to drink." Katie said.

"So what can I do for you today?" she asked with a smile. "Is everything alright?"

"After everything I've been through lately I really could use some help, all the stress is really getting to me." Katie said.

"I heard...what can I do to help? Just name it." Stephanie said with a sift smile.

"I need some advice, how did you work while you were pregnant?" Katie asked.

"Oh...well...one day at a time, I guess...and with the phone very close at hand." she chuckled. "It was a bit easier when I was pregnant with Murphy since I'd already been through it...but when I first got pregnant with Aurora...it was not that much fun." she chuckled.

"And I had my dad and brother...and even mom to help me. If I was ever feeling really sick or something, one of them stepped in to help...and I just took my time...did things at my own pace, and my family helped to pick up the slack." she explained. "Oh! And always keep a stash of sweets on your desk....those help a lot too."

"I was always reminded and reminded myself not to stress...stress is the worst thing for you when you're pregnant...so luckily...I had Hunter too." she smiled at the memories.

"When I'd get home from a stressful day, he'd rub my feet, give me a shoulder massage...get me whatever weird food I was crazving that day...and just hold me." she smiled.

"Well I guess it's a good thing that Randy is on the road with me then." Katie said with a small chuckle.

She nodded with a smile. "Randy must be really excited, though...about being a father." she smiled.

"Yeah he was until I told him it might not be his." Katie said.

"Oh...Katie...I'm so sorry." she said softly.

"Please...let me know if there's anything I can do."

[[i think something nice to maybe make Katie feel more happy...now this is just spitballing....what if one day Stephanie goes to Raw to visit....and she brings Aurora and Murphy with her? and then she lets Katie hold Murphy...and so Katie starts to get to feel what it's gonna be like lol]]

"I will. I'm just scared that it won't be Randy." Katie said.

(I love that idea, it's really cute )

She reached over and gently took Katie's hand and squeezed it. "You know that whatever happens...you have me and my family's support. If you need any time off or you just need to talk, just give me a call." she assured.

Katie smiled a little.

"I will thanks Steph." Katie said.

"Anytime." she reassured.

"So how is it like having children?" Katie asked.

"It's...tiring and very challenging...but...it's the best feeling in the world...there's nothing like it." she smiled. "Holding that baby in your arms...knowing that it's yours...it's an amazing feeling." she said and even teared up a little.

"I remember...I never wanted to really be a mom...I was always career woman...and then I got pregnant and nothing seemed to change too much...well except for my pants and dress sizes." she laughed. "And then...I gave birth to Aurora...and the minute the nurse put her in my arms...I couldn't have been happier to have had that little girl. She and Murphy are my life..." she said softly.

Katie smiled then wiped a tear from her eye.

"That was so sweet." Katie said.

"It's just...something happens when you finally get to hold that baby in your arms...and when they look at you...and the baby knows...that with you...it's safe...because you'll never let anything happen to them." she smiled.
