Should I Stay or Should I Go? [anyone]

Lacy pulls her suitcase behind her, letting out a short yawn. She sits down in a chair, as she waits for her flight to be called. She rolls her eyes slightly irritated, seeing that her scheduled flight would be delayed... again. It was the third one today.

Honestly, she didn't think all of this was worth it. Partly why she hasn't asked for much air time on Raw. The injuries, the long flights, the strain it put on her relationships with others and her family. She loved to wrestle, but she wanted personal time. She wasn't sure if she wanted to ask Katie for her release. If she did, she'd feel awful for leaving the business. If she didn't, she'd feel awful for not leaving the business, so it was really a lose/lose situation.

She sits in the chair in deep thought, not noticing someone sit in the chair next to her.

Maria rolled her suitcase next to Lacy and stopped next to her. "Hey...is this seat taken?" she asked.

Lacy looks up at Maria, her concentration being broken. "No, go ahead."

"Looks like we're in the same boat." she chuckled as she sat next to Lacy.

She chuckles slightly. "Guess so."

"Lacy, right?" she asked since they weren't too familiar with each other and Maria was a reccent addition to the Raw roster.

"Yeah." Lacy nods. "And you're Maria?"

she nodded. "that's me~ It's nice to meet you....officiaqlly." she smiled.

She reciprocates the smile. "It's nice to meet you too, Maria. So, you as excited about this flight as much as I am?" She chuckles slightly.

She laughed. "Well I wouldn't say excited, but I know things happen." she shrugged.

"Boy, do they ever."

"So what's up? you seemed deep in thought..." she said.

"Being a pessimist as per usual." Lacy laughs.

"How so?" she asked curiously.

"Things just haven't been going my way lately." She says softly.

"Wanna talk about it?" she asked softly.

She lets out an almost bitter laugh. "Sure you wanna listen?"

She nodded. "Positive~"

"I'll give you the cliffs notes version. All in all, I was supposed to get married at the end of the year. Things kinda blew up in our faces and we broke up. And, I'm not sure if I wanna keep doing this or not." She says quietly.

"Wow..." she siad shocked. "I'm very sorry." she said sincerely.

"what makes you not wanna do this anymore?"

"I don't know, I mean... I've been wrestling since I was nineteen. I'm thirty now," she chuckles. "I'm a bit burnt out. And I've been with the WWE for a few years now, and it's putting a strain on my family life. But on the other hand, I love wrestling. So if I leave, I'll feel bad. But if I stay, I'll feel bad."

"Well you do what your heart feels." she told her. "You could always take a break and come back if you want a rest." she suggested. "Just talk to Katie...maybe you oculd only do the TV tapings and pay per views?"

"But I just got off of injury. So asking for time off would be a little.. stupid." She chuckles.

"Ah..." she said since she didn't know that. "Well...I'm not too sure what to tell you..."

"Your guess is as good as mine." She shrugs slightly. "I know that in the end I'm just gonna have to stick it out."
