Stupid Cold (Anyone)

Katie sneezed then coughed several time before she moaned as she rested her head on her desk. She had a cold but still had to work and she so much to do. There was a huge stack of paperwork on her desk but couldn't think long enough to actually do it. Katie was about to take a nap when someone knocked on her door making her moan softly.

"Come in." Katie said then coughed as the person walked in.

"Hey Katie." Ashley smiled as she stepped inside.

"Oh my, you look horrible sweetie, are you alright?"

"I'm not feeling well...but I have to get this work done." Katie said before she slowly sat up then moaned when she looked at the stake of paperwork.

"I think you should take a little break and just lay down on the couch for a while."

Katie sniffled.

"No Ash I can't do that. This isn't going to get done if I go to sleep." Katie said.

She thought for a minute.

"Well how about I help? You just tell me what to do and I'll do it for you."

Katie coughed a couple times.

"You have to read through the papers and sign on the stupid dotted lines then I have to book more arenas for Raw." Katie said.

"I'll do it for you, I'm good at forging signatures, but shhhhh, don't tell anyone." she giggled.

"Now you, lay down." she said grabbing her by the wrists and pulling her over to the couch.

Katie moaned.

"Ashley I don't need to lie down. God everyone keeps telling me to lie down and relax but I don't need to." Katie said.

"Alright Ms. Cranky Pants, then just chill for a minute. You want anything? Soup, cracker, water?"

"Soup please." Katie muttered as she lied down on the couch.

"Alright, I'll be right back." she grinned as she left to catering.

Ashley came back in ten minutes later.

"Here you go." she said bringing the tray of soup over to Katie.

Katie looked then smiled as she sat up.

"Thanks Ash, you're the best." Katie said.

"No need to tell me, I already know." she laughed as she watched Katie.

"Cold huh?" she asked.

"Yeah and Randy's on tour in Europe so he can't take care of me." Katie said with a small chuckle as she took a spoonful of soup.

She laughed.

"That sucks, but you can make him feel bad about it."

"So how are you? I haven't talked to you since I've been back." she laughed.

"I think he already does, he keeps calling me every hour to see how I'm doing." Katie said with a smile.

"I've been good, how about you?" Katie asked before she sneezed.

"You've got him wrapped around your little finger, don't you?" she smirked.

"And I'm good, just trying to get back in the game."

Katie giggled.

"Yeah I guess I do but he's a real sweetheart." Katie said.

Katie nodded.

"How's Lexi?" Katie asked.

"Well I'm to hear that. Lexi is good, had a bit of the flu the other night, but she's feeling much better. We ran into Matt the other night and she had him playing hide and seek." she giggled.

"Well I bet he had fun doing that and I'm glad Lexi is feeling better." Katie said.

"Thanks and I think he enjoyed it more than she did."

"Well you know Matt, he's still a little kid at heart." Katie said.

"I know, you'd think he'd grow out of it by now." she giggled.

"You would think but I don't think Matt will ever grow up which means when he has kids Soraya will most likely have to be the mean parent." Katie said with a chuckle.
