Akward (Christian & Nikki)

It had been a whole week since Christian had heard from, or tried to get in contact with Nikki, After their crazy drunk romantic night Christian thought there was something there...But was afraid to reach out to nIKKI, because maybe to her it was something fun, and not serious at all...

Christian was set to make an apperance on ECW that night, which was the brand he knew Nikki was on...He wasn't really focused on avoiding,her, but was focused on what he might say if he did see her....

Nikki was walking around backstage tonight. Ever since she & Christian had that night together, things haven't been the same. She was bummed that he didn't try to call or talk to her after that night and she had been too afraid to talk to him as well. Walking around, heading towards the Diva's Locker Room, she saw him. She was frozen and had a ton of thoughts going through her mind. Like, what was her even doing there in the first place? Shaking her thoughts away, she decided to find another way to the locker room, but then realized the only way to get to the locker room would be to pass him. Sighing, she made her way down the hallway and tried to pass.

"Excuse me." she said nicely to Christian so she could pass.

Christian noticed the voice and turned to see a Nikki. Thoughts from their crazy night cam rushing back.

"Oh...Uhh...Yeah...Sorry" he said moving

She nodded as she also had memories from that night.

"It's okay. So um, how've you been?"

"Good...Good...you?" he said nervously gesturing his hands in his pockets...

"Great." she said said putting on a fake smile.

"So um, what brings you to ECW?"

"A little ring segment leading up to the new pay-per-view" he answered no biggie

"Oh cool." she said putting some hair behind her ears.

She had to, she just had to know.

"So are we going to stand here and pretend nothing happened?"

"I didn't want you to feel awjard..." he said

"I didn't want you to feel awkward either." she chuckled.

Christian took a deep breath and stopped being nervous

"I had an amazing night with you, but it sicked waking up the next morning with you gone...which is why I didn't reach out to you, I thought you weren't into it" Christian confessed

She sighed.

"I had an amazing night too and I did enjoy it, I just didn't know how you would react."

"I know I was alittle wasted but I knew what I was doing, and why....I like you Nikki" Christian told

She looked shocked.

"You do?"

"Too damn much...I just don't look at you as a one night stand anymore, I see you as so much more" he told grabbing her hand

She blushed.

"Really?"

Christian laughed "Gosh do I have to spell it out for you" he joked

She laughed.

"No, no. Sorry, I just can't believe you feel the same way about me, that I feel about you." she smiled.

Christian smiled "Really? you like me too??" he asked

"Well yeah. Actually for a long time. Since you came back." she said slightly embarrassed.

"Why didn't yopu say anything, till now?" he asked with a huge grin

"Because I was afraid." she said with a slight chuckle.

"Of what" he asked

"Of how you would react. I thought you were going to turn me down."

Christian laughed "Why would I, you are so hot and exotic...so my type" Christian said
