What If? VIII

Since Punk and Lacy were in the indies together and traveled and so on, they became really good friends. Punk had been complaining one night to her about how upset he was with latest relationship that failed and she also vented to him. They both came up with an idea that they would set each other up with one of their friends. Lacy had Ellie in mind, while Punk had Colt. The boys were held up with some wrestling stuff and were going to be late getting ready and picking up the girls, so Punk told Lacy to meet him at some club until he arrived. He had gotten dressed and figured he would make an effort for once. Currently, he was walking with Colt to get inside the club. "I look okay? I feel weird dressed like this." he frowned.

Ellie was waiting inside with Lacy. She had been on a few dates here and there but never found anything in common with her date; she was about to give up on dating altogether until Lacy convinced her to go out with Punk. Well, at least go on a first date. It would be a double date, which she was glad for. She hated when it got awkward. She wasn't dressed too fancy since they were going to eat and be at the club. The club had a restaurant on the first floor and on the second floor was the club.

"Soooo, you're sure we're going to click?" she asked Lacy.

"It's a shirt and jeans." he snorted. "You look fine, man." he said. "I sound like a chick." he snorted. "Much like the chick you probably set me up with." he snorted.

Lacy was a lot less like Ellie and had on this dress. "OF course, El." she said. "Punk is really nice and sweet." she said. "He won't disappoint at all."

"Ah, so then you two will get along great and get married." he joked. "You're gonna have a blast with her." he said. "She's a really cool chick."

"Hope not." she said. "I guess I'm just nervous. I haven't been on a date in a while." she snorted.

"I hope so." he chuckled. " 'Bout time I had someone cute instead of you." he snorted.

"Well you're gonna do great and have tons of fun and have lots of sex with Punk." she chuckled.

"Babe, I'm offended." he joked with a pout.

"Ew." she laughed. "Calm down with my sex life."

He chuckled. "Take me to meet hot girls."

"That's the problem. It's calm." she snorted.

"Fine, geez." he said as they started to make their way in.

"...so?"

"You need to have it rocked a little." she joked.

"My vibrator rocks it enough." she snorted.

"Lace, hey." Punk said as he approached them.

"Stay classy." she chuckled and looked up. "Phil, hey." she stood up to give him a hug.

He hugged her back. "Sorry it took a little longer than we thought." he said. "Anyway, this is my friend, Scott. Well, Colt...whichever he wants you to call him." he snorted.

"Scott's fine." he chuckled.

"Nice to meet you Scott, I'm Lacy." she shook his hand.

"Same." he said.

"Phil, this is Ellie. Ellie, this is Phil." she introduced them.

"Hi Phil, it's nice to meet you." Ellie said as she shook his hand. "Lacy's said nothing but good things about you."

"Eh, I'm not surprised." he snorted. "Actually I am, I'm usually told I'm a jerk." he shrugged. Probably not a good thing to tell his date, lol.

"He's actually the biggest jerk I know." Scott joked.

Ellie nodded. "Well, I guess I deal with jerks a lot then. Lacy is one too." she teased.

"She sure is." Punk snorted. "Dinner?" he asked everybody.

"Ellie." she smacked her gently.

"Yeah, lets." Scott said as he went and pulled Lacy's seat out for her.

"What?" she snorted. Punk just sat down. He was too hungry and his manner flew out the window at the moment. Ellie just sat down then.

She sat down and Scott pushed her seat in. "Thank you." Lacy said.

"No problem." He said. "Man, I'm so hungry."

"Me too." he said. "I could fucking eat a cow right about now." Punk said. "Any idea on what you're getting?" Punk asked Ellie.

"Not sure yet." she said as she looked through the menu. "Probably pasta or something."

He nodded. "You, Lace?"

"Probably a salad." Lacy said as she looked at the menu. Promoters are getting on me about my hips getting too big." she rolled her eyes.

Scott shook his head gently. "Another girl who won't eat in front of a guy." he thought.

"Seriously? They're assholes. You look great." Punk said.

"I agree with Phil." Ellie nodded.

"Huh? Oh yeah, you do." Scott said.

"Thanks." Lacy said. "Gotta make this money though." she snorted. "So El.. y'know.. tell Phil about your self."

"Oh yeah." Punk said. "How old are you? Where do you work and yadda yadda." he asked.

"Um, well I'm 24 and I work at a daycare center." she told him. "I graduated college with a teaching degree and well, this learning center offered me a job." she said.

"Rad. I wouldn't be able to deal with kids. They gross me out."

"They're not so bad." she said. "They're pretty amusing."

"Eh, I'd rather not find out."

"Me either." Lacy snorted.

"I don't mind kids." Scott said. "So long as they don't poop." he chuckled.

Punk nodded. "I'm glad Lacy and I are the smart ones here."

Ellie rolled her eyes slightly but chuckled at Colt. "Well, they kinda have to." she teased.
