Christmas with the Coltons

Ellie had showered, changed and started to cook a few hours ago. Today was Christmas and she was having Punk, Lacy and their kids over for dinner and to spend the holiday together. She was making roasted chicken with rice and vegetables. She also was baking a cake and had some other goodies for dessert. Currently, she was in the kitchen icing some cookies she made.

Scott came in carrying Sophie. "Oooh look Sophie, Mommy's making cookies for us." he said and reached for one.

Sophia copied his 'oooh' and grinned when she saw him reaching for one, but then frowned when Ellie slapped his hand gently. "These are for later." Ellie said.

"Not in front of the baby, El." he pouted and reached for another one.

She did it again and Sophia balled up her little fists. Ellie snorted. "Easy there, little girl.' she chuckled as she picked at the icing and put it on Sophia's finger, who then put her finger in her mouth to taste it.

"None for me?" he pouted.

She rolled her eyes and put more icing on her finger, then offered it to him. "Here you big baby." she teased.

He ate the icing off of her finger. "Could be better." he joked.

"Then you can bake everything else." she snorted and went back to icing the cookies. "Have you spoken to Punk?"

"No, but they should be here any second."

"...shit." she said. "I still have like...20 cookies to ice." she snorted.

"Why'd you make so many?"

"Well lets see." She said. "I'm pretty sure their kids will want some, Punknwill eat like a whole tray, you'll probably join him and Maddie and Ajay will want some too. Oh and me too of course." She chuckled.

"And Sophia." he kissed the baby's cheek gently.

"Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!" Ally ran in wearing her little outfit . Everyone had let themselves in.

"I come bearing food, Phil is putting presents under the tree." Lacy walked in with some dishes of food and sat them down. The twins came trailing in behind her holding Brandon's hands.

Sophia looked over at them and let out a squeal, then clapped her hands.

"Hi guys." Ellie said. "Ally, you look very pretty." She told her. "And I told you not to worry about bringing food." She chuckled at Lacy.

"There's like a billion gifts to bring in. Colton! Come help!" Punk said.

"Thank you! I pick it myself." Ally grinned.

"Well I did." She said.

Scott put Sophia in her high chair and went to go help Punk.

"You did a good job." she told Ally, then snorted at Lacy. "I shouldn't be surprised, it's not like you listen to me." she joked. "Hi Brandon, Jack and Carly."

Sophia slapped her hands on her high chair, babbling to everybody.

"Thank you babe." Punk joked as he headed back to the car to get the gifts out of the car.

Jack grinned and said hi while Carly just waved with her free hand, clinging on to Brandon.

Ally paid attention to Sophia. "Hi Sophie." She giggled.

"Never do. You need help?" Lacy asked.

"All of these are your gifts?" Scott asked.

Ellie chuckled at the twins, then nodded at Lacy. "If you could help me finish icing the cookies, that would be great."

Sophia grinned and wiggled her fingers to wave hi to Ally. She then pointed at a cookie to show Ally that was what she wanted.

"They're from us to the kids and some are for you and Ellie." he said. "The others ones are ours too, we figured we would open them here."

"No problem." Lacy said as she started to ice the cookies.

"Mommy's makin' em." Ally told Sophie. " 'Sides, babies can't have cookies." she giggled.

"I can only imagine what torture that was for the kids."

"Thanks." Ellie said. "Guys, you can go to the playroom if you want. Maddie and Ajay should be coming home in a few minutes." she told the kids.

Sophia pouted and blew raspberries.

"I've never heard them whine so much." Punk snorted.

"Where are they?" Brandon asked.

"Did Lacy at least dress up for you to apologize?" he joked.

"They are with their father." she told him. "But they're on their way back."

"Good one." Punk snorted.

"But they needa be here so we can open prezzies," Ally whined.

He chuckled and sat the gifts under the tree, nudging him with his elbow. "Don't want her to sing Santa Baby to you?" he chuckled.

Ellie chuckled. "They will be here in two minutes." she nodded.

"hey, I'm all for it. I have no objections."
