Ellie didn't hear him because she was changing Sophia into her pajamas while Sophia talked her ears off...well babbled. However, Maddie did hear it. She was watching a movie with Ajay in her room when she heard it. Getting up from the bed, she headed down the hall. "Daddy?" she asked and when she saw him. "Daddy!" she grinned as she ran down the stairs to get to him.
