She placed her free hand on the back of his neck and brought him down to kiss him softly. "We don't do much of that anymore."

He brushed some hair behind her ear. "Well..." stop being a bitch, Phillip. "...we can start off with this." he told her as he leaned into to kiss her softly.

She was a little surprised and it took her a while to respond but she eventually kissed him back.

He was going to pull away until he felt her respond to the kiss. He figured he would deepen the kiss as he ran a hand through her hair and pulled her in a little closer by the back of her neck.
