Romancing Her

"Okay. Bye bye Sophie."

She opened and closed her hand as if waving good bye. Ellie snorted. "Bye Lace. Have fun and let me know how it goes."

"Will do." she said as she walked them out before going upstairs to get ready.

They left and headed home to let Lacy get ready.

A couple of hours later, she was dressed and ready and around that time, the car had gotten there to pick her up. She made sure the house was locked up before getting in the car.

The driver was outside the car and opened the back door for her, letting her inside. He then handed her a blindfold. "You'll have to wear this for the car ride, miss."

Lacy rose a brow. "What?"

"That's the instruction I've been given."

"Phil.." she muttered to herself and shook her head, taking the blindfold and putting it on.

Once he made sure she had the blindfold on and was in the car, he closed the door and went into his seat to drive. He drove for about a half hour until he stopped, reaching their destination, which was a boat dock where the yacht was. Punk saw that they had arrived, so he came down from where he was, all dressed up. He opened the door for Lacy and took her hand to lead her out. Without saying a word, he took her hand and lowered his lips to her hand, kissing her hand properly. "Hello beautiful." he said and went to take her blindfold off, so he could give her a single red rose.

She looked around after the blindfold was taken off and blinked a little to readjust her vision. She looked a little surprised. "Hi.'

"Hi." he chuckled. "You look really, really nice." he told her. "That dress is perfect on you."

"You look nice, too." she said as she fixed his tie gently. "What's this for?"

"Well, I know we have been slacking in the romance department and it is my fault." he chuckled a little. "For a guy who has romance tattooed on his fingers, that's just not right. I love you and want to give you all the romance you want and deserve. You deserve it all. This isn't going to be just a one night thing either, I'll make sure to keep up with being romantic and having/showing you my love for you constantly, but I figured tonight would be a step in the right direction." he told her as he kissed her hand again and then wrapped his arms around her and rubbed her lower back gently. "I hope it's been okay so far."

"You surprised me with the gifts."

"Well, good." he nodded. "That's a start." he said. "Well then my lady, let's go enjoy our night."

"Lead the way."

He nodded and held her hand as he lead her up the dock and to the yacht. The Captain greeted them and Punk took her to the dining area, where a meal was set up for them. He pulled her chair out for her. "After you."

She sat down. "So.. a yacht?"

He pushed her chair in and then went to sit down, nodding. "I looked up some different dining experiences and I came across a site that said we can dine here and spend a night on the yacht as it goes around. I figured why not? It's something different and seems like it'll be nice. Plus, there are other things to do besides just eat." he chuckled as he reached over next to him and poured some champagne for her into a glass. "Here you go." he said as he passed it to her.

"Thank you." she took the glass. "Well it looks like you put a lot of work into this."

"I sure did." he said as he grabbed his glass of ginger ale. "And the night is still young, there is more in store for you."

"Should I be scared?"

"Absolutely not." he shook his head as they were served their food. "Thank you." he said politely to their waiter.
