Beachin' It

With the summer days winding down and the kids having to go back to school soon, Punk decided to head out to the beach with the family to enjoy a nice day together. The weather wasn't retarded today, it was actually perfect to be at the beach. As always, since Colt and Ellie were practically family, they were invited as well but it was highly unlikely they'd show up since they'd been home with Sophia ever since she was born. He didn't invited Lacy's mom though, lol. Just his Mom. Once he parked and they found a spot on the beach, he started to lay out their towels. "It should be a good day." he said. "Hopefully it doesn't get cold later on or rain."

"Daddy, we'll play in the water?" Ally asked.

"Not before I put on your sunscreen." Lacy said as she finished lotioning up the twins and pulled Brandon and Allison over to her.

"Mom." Brandon grumbled.

"Daddddyyyyy..." Allison asked. "We'll go to the water?"

"We will." he nodded. "After you guys put on your sunscreen and I do too." he told her as he finished setting up the towels and stuff. "Need help?" he asked Lacy.

"Dada." Jack walked over to Punk. he was walking funny because of the sand. "Up." he lifted his arms.

"I'm okay." she said as she quickly lotioned Allison and then Brandon. "You two can go down to shore and make sandcastles." she said as she handed them their pails and shovels.

"Race ya!" Ally said before they both ran off.

Punk watched them run off and snorted, then he picked up Jack. "Hey bud." he said. "Ready to go in the water?"

"Wa wa?" he asked.

"Mhm." he nodded.

"No wa wa." he shook his head. This was the baby that hated taking baths.

"You've got to get over this fear of water eventually." he snorted.

"No wa wa." Jack pouted.

"Then you have to stay with Mommy." he told him.

"Mimi." Jack reached for her.

"Ohhh, c'mon, big baby." Lacy grabbed him and sat on one of the towels.

Punk snorted. "You think he'll ever stop being scared of water?" He chuckled as he picked up Carly.

"Maybe  when he gets older." She said.

"Hopefully." he said. "Well then Carly, shall we go in the water?"

"Mhm!" Carly grinned.

"We shall return." he told Lacy and headed into the water with Carly.

Carly stared at the waves and reached out to touch the water. "Oooooh..."

"Nice, right?"

"Fun." She grinned.

"Tons of fun." he said as he kissed her cheek. "Brandon! Ally! You guys wanna come in?"

"I go!!" Ally said and ran into the water.

Punk wasn't too deep in the water, so he made sure she was okay when she came in. "Having fun, Princess?"

"Yep." She giggled. "Splash!"

"Big splash." he said as he splashed around while still holding onto Carly.
