Cabin Fever

So, somehow Ellie convinced Lacy to come along for a getaway to try and cheer her up. She hated that Punk and Lacy were...broken, so when Punk asked her to talk to Lacy, she gladly agreed. They all rode up together in the car to some cabin that was a few hours away. There was tons to do at this resort too, so it'd be fun for everybody...well, she hoped. The car ride was already awkward enough. They had just made it and Ellie put on her jacket over her black shirt (f that jacket), getting out of the car to grab her bags. "Lace...just try to enjoy yourself, okay? It's not like we have to be with the boys all the time. We'll go out and have our own girl time and have fun." she smiled. "Deal?" she asked, while the guys were getting out of the car.

Lacy got out of the car and nodded. "Yeah, okay." she said.

"Ready, man?" Scott asked Punk as he helped him get the bags out of the car.

"Promise?"

"Yeah, I guess." he said as he grabbed a few bags and shut the door.

"I promise." Lacy nodded as she straightened out her outfit. "I will try for you."

"You don't sound very excited." He commented.

"And for you too." she said. "I want you to really have fun. Don't make me dance all crazy for you." she joked.

"I am, I just hope this works or at least gets us a step into the right direction."

"Go dance all crazy for Scott." She laughed a little. "Can we head inside? It's really cold out."

"Have a little faith." he said. "I'm sure that it will."

She snorted. "Yes, let's go inside."

"Yeah well, I don't know if I have much left in me. I'll try though." he nodded.

"Guysssss, open the door for us." Ellie said.

Punk snorted and threw the key to her. "Open it."

"Thanks." she said as she caught it and opened the front door, heading inside. "Holy...."

"Wow," Lacy said, looking genuinely surprised. "Who booked this?"

"Punk did." she told her.

Scott walked in and looked around the place. "Wow, man... you out did yourself."

He shrugged. "I figured it was nice for us and I thought it was pretty sweet." he nodded as he closed the front door.

"C'mon man, help me take up these bags." Scott said he went upstairs. "That way I can know where the rooms are."

Punk nodded and headed upstairs, following Colt.

Ellie checked the place out. "This is really, really nice." she nodded. "Better than my place." she chuckled a bit.

Lacy nodded as she looked after Punk as he went upstairs. "Yeah, it is nice. Too bad he doesn't even want to be here." she said.

"You know he does." she told her as she shook her head. "Otherwise he wouldn't have even bothered to have planned this."

"Yeah, I guess." she sighed. "I guess we should take a look around."

She nodded. "Upstairs?"

"Yeah sure." she said as she started to head towards the stairs.

She headed up the stairs with Lacy and checked out the other rooms. "This place is fricking awesome." she chuckled.

Punk had just finished putting their bags upstairs and saw them. "So, you guys like it?" he asked.

"Love it." Ellie nodded.

"Good. How about you, Lace?"

"It's nice, I like it." she said.

"Good, we all like the place." Scott grinned. "El, we haven't seen our room yet, so lets." he said as he dragged her off, lol.

"But I---fine." she didn't have much of a choice, lol...she followed.

He snorted and shook his head at Colt, then looked back at Lacy. "Great. I was hoping you would." he smiled a bit. "Uh so, I put my bags in the other room. Should I bring them down so I can sleep on the couch, or would it be okay to sleep in the same room?" he asked.

"I haven't seen you in a month, you're lucky I didn't maul you in the car." He grinned as he held her hand and led her around.

"Where would you like to sleep?" She asked him.

"It'd just add to the awkwardness." she chuckled.

"...well, if it's okay with you, I'd really like to sleep with you in the other room."

"Punk and Lacy are awkward." he chuckled and opened the door for her, leading her into the bed room. "We are not awkward. We've missed each other."

"That's fine." she said.

"Mhm, we sure have." she said. "...I feel bad." she chuckled. "We're all like 'yay we missed each other'...meanwhile Punk and Lacy are miserable." she snorted and then looked around the room. "This is almost better than Hawaii." she joked about the room.

He nodded. "Good. Really good." he chuckled a bit. "Well then, come with me so I can show you the room."
