Lacy nodded a little. "I trust you. I was just so alone, Phil, and I felt like I was doing everything by myself. If it's gonna be like that again..." she took a breath. "then maybe we shouldn't do this after all."

"It won't be like that." he told her. "I decided to stop wrestling for the WWE." he told her.

"I'm leaving." he told her. "The schedule is just way too much and I've been wrestling non stop. I need a break and I need to be here with you and the kids."

He nodded. "I told them four months ago that after my contract expired, I wasn't going to sign a new one. My contract expires at the end of the month."

"Well you would have quit whether you had my approval or not." she laughed a little. "So... you were really serious about the whole marriage thing?"

After a moment of silence, Lacy told him, "I never stopped. Even through all of the stuff I said, I never stopped loving you. I thought that breaking away from you would make things better, it just made things worse."

"No." he chuckled. "It was actually very nice and mutual. She was understanding and just said that she would stay out of the way for a while and lay low. Especially since somebody made it obvious that they didn't like her." he teased with a smirk.
