What If? II

"If Johnny can't come then I don't wanna go." Allison crossed her arms. Unlike him, she didn't bother to hide her irritation, she wasn't used to being told no.

"Fine then, you'll miss out on the Cubs and the new tutus I bought you." he shrugged. "I wanted you to come and meet my new friend. She has all this make up, nail polish and stuff that she wanted you to play with....but I guess not anymore."

Dirty move with the tutus, but she resisted. "Well Johnny is -my- friend and he plays with me all the time, even when he work. You just work, and play with us when you feel like it." She said as she walked back into the living room.

"Allison, you're coming with me and that's it. Johnny is staying here and you'll see him later." he told her. "Now get your things because we're going."

"I not going!" She let out a scream of frustration and stormed up the stairs.

Punk was irritated and just wanted to go. He hoped Lacy would come down soon, so he could leave with the kids.

Lacy came downstairs with Brandon and Allison's bags packed for the weekend, with her hair up in rollers and her makeup done. She saw Punk. "Hey, sorry I took so long. John told me you were here but we're going out tonight so I'm kind of getting ready." And of course, even though she was seeing another man and they were divorced didn't mean that she still couldn't read him like a book. "What's the matter?" she asked. He was clearly upset. They weren't really friends after the divorce, but they had to be civil with each other for the kids.

"Eh, it's nothing." he said as he took their bags from her. "Just been a long day." he nodded. "So what time should I bring them back on Sunday?"

"Brandon starts preschool that Monday." Lacy said. "So kind of early."

He nodded. "Is three good?"

"Three's fine." Lacy nodded. "Brandon, Allison! Your Dad's ready for you!" she called.

Brandon came down the stairs and went to go greet Punk while Ally trudged down the stairs with her arms crossed, dragging her feet.

"Hey there kiddo." Punk said as he greeted Brandon.

"Hi Daddy." Brandon said, hugging him. "Ally's maaaad."

"She will get over it." he said as he kissed the top of Brandon's head. "Let's get going, I have somebody waiting in the car." he said. "See you on Sunday." he told Lacy. "...and have a good time tonight." he nodded as he grabbed Brandon and Ally's hands, so they could walk to the car.

Lacy waved and closed the door after they left, not paying attention to who was in Punk's car.

Brandon followed along happily, but Allison snatched her hand out of Punk's grip and walked, dragging her feet and going rather slowly.

Punk opened the door for Brandon and put him in his car seat, then waited for Ally. "Today Allison."

Allison shot him a dirty look (ooh would have whipped that ass by now lol) and stomped over to the car, climbing in and plopping down in her seat roughly. That's about as far it would get, she crossed her arms over her chest and wouldn't help him or cooperate in letting him strap her in safely.

He rolled his eyes and put their bags in the car, then buckled Ally in, even though she gave him a hard time. He then sat in the driver's side. "So guys, I want you to meet my friend, Zoe." he introduced as Zoe smiled at Brandon and Ally. "Hi guys, it's nice to meet you. Your Daddy has told me so much about you."

"Hi Zoe. I Brandon," Brandon introduced himself.

Now Allison was beyond pissed off because Punk had gotten her buckled in. That combined with the fact that she didn't even wanna be there in the first place made her reply with a very snotty, "I don't have a Daddy."

"It's nice to meet you Brandon." she smiled. "You're very cute." she chuckled a little, then looked over at Ally...then at Punk.

"Ally, don't talk like that. You will see your new friend, Johnny, on Sunday and then you can play with him all you want, since you like him ten times better. Okay?"

Zoe looked over at Ally...not really knowing what to say. She wasn't sure how Ally would react with her, since she was already upset about something.

"I wanna see him now." Allison told him lowly, which was one of the many warnings to one of her meltdowns. And it would probably be safe to assume that she wouldn't like Zoe, lol.

"He's going out with Mommy later." he told her. He let out a sigh to himself and sent over a small smile to Zoe. "Sorry Zo."

"It's okay." she said.

He nodded and then...sighed again. Man was broken that his daughter was being this way with him...and that he had to offer this. "Tell you what Ally, later on...if you behave and calm down...I will call Mommy and put her on camera, so that you can talk to Johnny." At least he still had Brandon.

"Whatever," Allison muttered and sat back, crossing her arms. Guess she wasn't gonna behave then. lol.

"Fine." he said as he started to drive home. It was gonna be a long weekend.

Allison hadn't been very pleasant all weekend. She barely ate, she didn't talk and she wouldn't participate in anything that Zoe, Punk and Brandon did... and the last thing she wanted to do was talk to Zoe. Whenever she did talk, it was something mean or she was screaming that she didn't want to do whatever it was that Punk suggested. So now she was in her car seat on the way back home... tired, very hungry and just very sad in general. She missed her Mommy and she wanted Johnny.
