Taking care of his Lacy

Punk's mom had taken the kids earlier in the day to the park and such, since she wanted to spend some time with them. With time to kill before they came back home, he decided he would go to the gym and work out for a bit, just to do something, lol. Since Lacy was doing better, he was going to ask her to come with him. He had changed into a t-shirt and some shorts, then walked into the room. "Lace, let's go out."

Well, they thought she was doing better. She woke up that morning feeling very sore in her abdomen and below her waist. She tried to get out of bed to get her pain medication, but she couldn't, it was too painful. So while Punk was at the gym, she just stayed in bed, curled up with her legs to her chest, trying to ignore the pain in her stomach. Then he came back home, and she was still in bed. The lights were still off and the curtains were closed. "Where do you want to go?" She asked, trying to make her voice sound as normal as possible.

"I don't know, somewhere to get a bite to eat."

"Tell you what. You go somewhere to eat, and bring me back something."

"Why? You feeling okay?"

"Been better," she said, pushing the covers off of her. Her eyes were ready from crying and she looked very tired.

He looked her over and frowned. He walked up to the bed and sat by her. "What are you feeling?"

"Sore," Lacy said gently, burying her face into the pillows. "Scar tissues."

He frowned a bit and kissed the side of her head. "Where's your medicine?"

"Bathroom medicine cabinet. I couldn't get up." She shook her head.

"It's okay." he said. "Just lay here and I'll get it for you." he said as he stood up and headed to the bathroom.

"Baby, don't worry about it," she called for him. "I'm okay. Go out and enjoy yourself."

"Nope, too late." he said as he grabbed her meds and went back by her.

"When I take these, you can go." She nodded slightly.

"Not going to happen."

She just let out a small whine. "I don't want to get up."

He chuckled a bit and sat next to her, handing the pills over. "You don't have to. I'll be here to take care of you."

Lacy grabbed the pills from him and didn't bother taking them, that meant she'd have to sit up for water. "Such a good man you are."

"The best." he smirked. "Take them." he told her. "Or you'll be in pain all day."

"I have been in pain all day," she said dryly.

"You'll continue to be in pain until you take them."

She sighed and swallowed her medicine dry. "Just lay with me if you're going to be hardheaded and not enjoy yourself."

"I will be hardheaded." he grinned and laid in the bed, next to her. He put the blanket over himself and opened his arms for her. "Bring it in."

She moved gingerly over to him and put her arms around him, burying her head into his chest. "I didn't wanna bother you."

"You're not bothering me." he told her as he wrapped his arms around her and kissed her forehead.
