Father's Day

"Happy Daddy's Day!" was how the morning started off, with Allison and Brandon sitting on Punk's weight bench in the home gym when he first walked in for his morning workout. Both kids each had boxes in their hands. While Allison's box was smaller, the gift was certainly more expensive.

"Look at what I buy you for Daddy Day!" And by 'buy', she means picked out and Lacy bought. She handed over the box, and inside was a black Rolex, and on the back of the watch, the words To Daddy, I Love You! Ally were engraved.

Brandon's gift was simpler, a custom made Cubs jersey, and since Brandon was learning to write, he'd penned a short note that said Happy Father's Day To The Best Daddy In The World. Love, Brandon.

The kids left him to work out while Lacy was upstairs, making breakfast for him after she'd given Jack and Carly their bottles and put them back to sleep. The twins were about a month old now, and they've been home for about a week now, since Lacy was deemed healthy enough to come home after her scare at the hospital. She wasn't really supposed to be on her feet very much as a precaution, but she figured that she could be on her feet for a few hours to make him breakfast and give him his gift from her.

Punk was surprised to see Ally and Brandon in his gym this morning...and with gifts. He chuckled a bit and thanked them, before sitting next to them and kissing their cheeks. He took their gifts and opened them, reallyyyy liking them. "Thank you guys, I love it." he told them. "These are the best Daddy Day gifts ever." he said as he hugged them both and kissed the top of their heads. After they left him to work out, he stayed in the gym for a while, then decided he did enough for the day and headed up to find Lacy. He went to check their room, but didn't see her there...so he figured she was in the kitchen...based on the noises he heard coming from there. He stopped by the nursery to check on Jack and Carly, who were still sleeping, then went into the kitchen. He wrapped his arms around her from behind. "Morning."

"Hey," she said as she was working on scrambling the eggs. "I was just working on making you some breakfast." She didn't even bother trying to move his hands from her. Although she didn't feel like she was in the best physical shape after giving birth, he'd told her time and time again that he didn't care. "Sleep well?"

"Mhm, slept really well." he said as he kissed her cheek. "I'd scold you for being on your feet...but I'll be nice."

"Well since I was making you breakfast I figured I'd get a free pass." she laughed a little. "Have you liked your gifts so far?"

"I did." he nodded as he pulled away from her. "They were really nice."

"Good, because you've still got some more coming your way."

"A new bike?" he joked.

"No, but I'll add that to the list." She chuckled as she went and got plates for Brandon, Allison and Punk.

"I was kidding."

"Honey, you've been so good to me these past few months." She said, turning to face him. "Let me do something for you once."

"Well if you insist, then fine."

"I'm glad you've stopped saying no to me." She smirked.

"For once."

"Keep it that way." She smiled and handed him his plate.

He snorted and took his plate. "Thank you."

"Yep," she said as she made Brandon and Ally's plates before calling them downstairs to eat. "I'm glad you like your gifts."

"I really do." he said as he sat down to eat.

Brandon and Allison came downstairs and sat at their little table, eating their food. "You guys enjoy." Lacy said as she headed towards the stairsl

"We will." he nodded as she left. "Good guys?"

"It'd be really good if we had cookies." Brandon said with a grin.

"Bam Bam, we don't have cookies with breakfast." Ally shook her head. "Brownies." She grinned.

Punk chuckled a bit. "Later on we can have both."

"That'll really spoil dinner." Ally giggled.

"We'll keep it between us then."

"You want us to lie to Mommy?" Brandon gasped.
