A Pick Me Up?

She laughed a bit and nodded. "Sure, I'd like that."

"Sweet." He chuckled as the ride stopped and he saw Maddie and Ajay. "You guys have fun?"

"All of the fun!" Maddie said. "It was so cool and the horsies even moved up and down too."

"And I was a big boy and held on tightly." Ajay said.

Ellie chuckled. "Good I'm glad you enjoyed it."

"Very cool." Colt chuckled. "What'd you guys want to do next?"

"Hmmmm, we wanna drive cars." Maddie said.

"Bumper cars! Excellent choice." He chuckled, grabbing Madison's hand. "Are you up to it, El?"

"Yeah sure, I'm up for anything." she nodded as she carried Ajay.

"Then lets roll." He said as they started walking over to the bumper cars.

Maddie walked along happily with Colt. "We are going to win and hit Mommy's car a bunch of times, right Scotty?"

Scott let out an over exaggerated gasp. "You mean you wanna be on -my- team, Maddie?"

"Yeah." she giggled. "And Ajay can go with Mommy."

"I am so hurt Maddie." Ellie said as she sighed dramatically.

"Well, I'm sorry to say this, but you're goin' down." He chuckled. "Right Madison?"

"Yep!" she giggled. "Going downnnnnn." she said as she stuck her tongue out.

"You guys are horrible." she laughed.

"You're gonna lose, El.' He chuckled as they got in line.

"Hm, I don't think so."

"Good thing we didn't ask what you thought." he grinned, sending her a short wink as the line moved and it was their turn to get into the cars. He picked Madison up. "Ready to go, cutie?"

"Mhm, I'm always ready." she nodded excitedly.

"Then let's go." He chuckled.

They rode the bumper cars (it was a tie as far as he was concerned, he might have gone a little easy on Ellie) and more rides throughout the day. Before they knew it, the sun was close to setting and Scott didn't want to keep them outside too late. "How about we take the ferris wheel once and get out of here, and I'll treat you guys to dinner," he offered.

"GUH YES FOOOOOD." Maddie grinned.

Ajay just looked at her weird and giggled. "She's crazy."

Ellie snorted. "That sounds fine to me."

Scott laughed at Madison and agreed with Ajay. "Then again, I get a little crazy when I'm hungry, too." He smirked. "Any kinda of what kind of food you guys wanted?"

"Hm, I wanttttt ice cream." Madison nodded.

"Not food Maddie." Ajay said as he shook his head. "We want pizza." he nodded.

Maddie frowned. "I said ice cream."

"Pizza."

"ice cream."

"Pizza...."

"Maddie, no ice cream for you right now." Ellie said as she shook her head. "We'll get pizza and when we get home, thennnn you can have ice cream."

"Sounds like a plan, Madison?"

"Fineeeeee." she nodded. "Pizza then."

"Good." he nodded.

They rode the ferris wheel, more than once, before heading to the parking lot to head out. It had been a long day and Scott wanted to take them to a pizza place to sit and eat, but if the kids were to tired, he'd get everyone slices to go. "Did you guys have a good day today? Hopefully I didn't bore you too bad."

"I had the bestest time ever." Maddie grinned.

"Me too." Ajay said.

"Yeah, it was a really nice and fun day out." Ellie nodded. "So thank you."
