Finding Out

"Oh yes, that would make my day."

"then I will gladly do it...I love making your day."

"You are the best husband ever." she smiled.

He smiled back. "And you're the best wife ever."

"I try my best."

He smiled as they headed out to the car.

Once she went into the car, she waited for Jeff.

He got in the driver's side and put his seat belt on.

"We have to call everyone and tell them the news."

He nodded. "Definitely...and...I think...Ellie should be the godmother."

She thought about it and nodded. "I think that's a great idea." she said. "It'll be nice to involve her and I know it'd be exciting and would distract her from her divorce."

He nodded. "I still feel bad about that...I'm gonna go and visit her and the kids in Chicago soon."

"I'm sure she understands." she said. "We've all been busy, but I think it's a good idea for you to visit her." she nodded.

"It'll be a quick visit...I'll be back in a few days so we can finish the baby...babies' room." he grinned.

She laughed a little and nodded. "Take your time, we'll be fine here."

"I know...but I don't wanna be away too long." he admitted with a chuckle.

"I can go with you if you want. Granted, I'll probably just sleep in the hotel or something since these babies are taking a toll on me."

He shook his head. "No...traveling wouldn't be a good idea for you right now." he said softly. "I won't be long...you keep resting at home and working a little on the babies' room." he smiled, kissing the top of her head.

"Alright fine." she smiled. "Just make sure you enjoy yourself while you're away."

"I will." he smiled at her. "Wow...twins! Two of them!" he grinned like a little boy.

Candice laughed a little at his expression. "We will have our hands full."
