"The cutest nurse ever." he said as he finished making their lunch. He set her sandwich in front of her, then called for Brandon to come down.

Allison blew deliberately on her food to "cool it off" before beginning to eat as Brandon came downstairs.

"Lunch time?" He asked as he sat at the table.

"Kay." He nodded. "Why is mommy in bed? It's not nap time til after we eat," he said, confused. Did nap time even exist with Punk? lol

"Mommy is sick." he told Brandon. "So I was telling Ally, that we have to help her feel better."

"told you," Allison said with a mouthful of grilled cheese.

"Jelly beans!" Ally nodded.

"No candy for her. Maybe when she gets better though." he said as he started to clean up the pan. "But...if you guys see her get out of bed, you can tattle tell on her and tell me. Well, she can use the bathroom and take a shower, but that's it."

"Maybe you should go check on her now," Brandon suggested. "I make sure Ally eat." he nodded. Which probably meant he was going to shove her face in her plate. lol

"Fine. Behave." he said, though they probably wouldn't. Well, Brandon anyway. He headed up to his room, going to check on Lacy. "How we feeling?" he asked as he sat by her.

"We? You probably feel fine. I feel like hell," Lacy sniffled as she laid on top of the covers. "It hurts to move. It hurts to do anything. I didn't know you were coming home today."

"Yep, was told I could come home last night." he told her. "How long have you felt this way?"

"Few days since you left, so... about a week and a half." She covered her mouth with her arm to cough a little.

"Damn Lace." he frowned. "Well what do you feel?" he asked as he checked her for a fever.

"I have a temperature of 102, if that's what you're checking for," she told him, flinching away from the cold of his hand. She didn't get sick often, but when she did, it was bad. "I feel... stiff. Achy. My sinuses are fucked and as you can hear, my throat is shot to hell. Biggest headache ever that makes me wonder why I have such loud children," she groaned.
