Seeing Them

It had been about a month since Ellie and Lacy both gave birth to their kids. Yet, they still haven't been able to visit each other and see the newborns. Ellie had invited Lacy to the park, so they could finally meet up and catch up for a bit, also so Madison and Brandon could get out of the house and play for a while. She held Madison's hand with her free one, while she pushed the stroller with her other hand, dressed in this, she found a nearby bench and sat there, waiting for Lacy.

"Baby play?" Madison asked as she looked at Ajay, who smiled at her a little.

"He's too little. You'll play with Brandon today though." she told her.

"And Layley?"

"Yes, and Layley." Ellie chuckled.

Lacy had walked up a little bit later in just a simple tracksuit, she didn't really dress up after having a baby, even though Ellie was pretty casual with her attire. Brandon ran ahead of Lacy towards Ellie and Madison while Lacy pushed Allison along in her stroller.

"Hey El," she called.

"Hi Lacy. Oh and hi Brandon." Ellie chuckled.

"Layley! Brandon!" Madison exclaimed as she waved excitedly.

Brandon waved at Madison and Ellie with a grin. "Hi! Baby here." He pointed at Lacy who came up shortly after.

"Guess he beat me to the punch." She chuckled.

Madison gasped. "My baby here too!" she said, pointing at Ellie's stroller.

"Seriously, he just loves to be first." she chuckled.

"My baby pretty," Brandon bragged.

Lacy looked at Brandon and Madison. "Oh, lord," she laughed lightly.

"Noooooo, MY baby pretty." she said with a semi glare.

"I love how the babies are theirs, it's amusing."

Brandon arched a brow and gave Madison a look. "Mommy, get the baby."

Lacy smirked. "She's sleeping."

"She pretty when she sleep." Brandon nodded, saying that to Madison, too.

"Yeah well, he's pretty when he sleeps and is up." she nodded to Brandon.

"You calling my kid ugly, Maddie?" Lacy asked Madison with a playful pout.

"No, Brandon started it." she said with her own pout.

"I did not!" Brandon protested.

"Did too." she said folding her arms across her chest.

"Madison, behave." Ellie told her. "Come on, you both are here to play not argue."

"I don't want to play no more." Brandon shook his head.

Lacy rolled her eyes. "I don't know why I expected them to be mature." She chuckled.

"Ah well, we tried." she chuckled. "So lemme see herrrrrr...." she said, referring to Allison.

Lacy laughed lightly and looked in the stroller to see Allison who was now wide awake and staring at Lacy. "Hey you," she smiled at her daughter and took her carefully out of her stroller, bringing her over to Ellie.

"Ugh, you and Phil make adorable kids." she said. "She looks like you."

"You think?" She laughed lightly. "I think she looks like Phil, everyone tells me she looks like me, though." She shrugged. "I wanna see Ajay."

"Nah, she looks like you. Brandon looks like Phil." she chuckled. "Oh right." she nodded as she went to get Ajay. She kissed his cheek and smiled as she showed him to Lacy.

"Your baby is cute Layley." Madison smiled. "I play with her?" she asked.

"Aw, he's adorable." Lacy smiled as she looked over at Ajay. "He looks like you," she chuckled. "Red hair and all."

"I told you my baby cute." Brandon grinned.

"Brandon, hush." Lacy shook her head and sat down on the bench. "You can hold her, Maddie." She told her god-daughter. "She's too young to play."

"Righttttt? I was so happy that this one looked like me." she chuckled.

"Brandon, your baby cute....but mine is cuter." Maddie told him as she gave him a look. "Kay Layley, I hold her." she said as she sat on the bench.

"They are both cute," Lacy told both Madison and Brandon. Brandon shrugged. Lacy helped Madison up on the bench and situated Allison in her arms, reminding her to support the baby's head. "That's Allison." She told her.

Madison giggled. "It sounds like my name."

"Yeah, copycats." Ellie teased.

"It is, isn't it?" She chuckled. "Well maybe she'll be like you when she's older."

Madison gasped. "Oh yeah! She can play with me and wear the same stuff like me." she grinned.
