Just Needing a Break [Ellie/Lacy]

It had been a couple of days after Thanksgivng and Ellie...well...she was really upset about what happened. She didn't know what to believe. As much as she trusted AJ, she couldn't help to think that maybe he really was seeing Lauren and spending time with her. Jealous? No. See, she never had a problem with AJ and any other girl, but Lauren knew what she was doing, that's what pissed Ellie off. She didn't even want to be near AJ anymore, which was why she was going to spend some time at Lacy's house. She packed a bag for her and Madison, hoping Lacy wouldn't mind. It wouldn't be a long stay, she just needed a day to think things through.

She sighed and wiped her eyes from the residual tears she had and walked up to Phil & Lacy's house, then knocked on the door.

Lacy was in the middle of putting Brandon to sleep when there was a knock on the door. She got up with a half asleep toddler in her arms, and went to answer the door.

"Ellie? Maddie? What are you two doin' here?"

Ellie shrugged and frowned a bit. "Mind if we crash here for the night?"

Maddie waved at Lacy, then tugged on Ellie's arm. "Mama crying." she told Lacy.

"Sure, no problem." She nodded and ushered them in. "What's wrong?"

She sighed. "Just...stupid whor--women, coming in and trying to ruin marriages." she said as she walked in with Madison.

"Maddie, go upstairs, yeah? The games hooked up or you can watch tv."

Madison shrugged and climbed the stairs, heading to Phil and Lacy's room. She went inside and saw Phil there, watching tv.

"Hi Punk.' she grinned as she tried to get on their bed, but it was too hard for her.

"Uh...hi." he replied as he helped her up. "What are you doing here?" he asked as she sat next to him.

Madison shrugged. "Mommy sad, so she come talk to Layley."

Phil nodded. "Well...cool beans then." he said as they watched tv together.

"Now tell me what's up, El." She said and led her to the couch.

"One of AJ's childhood friends came back recently and well...I was super nice to her, cause that's his friend and I had no problem with her. She started flirting with AJ and I didn't like it, but I didn't say anything to AJ." she said first.

"Mhm." She nodded. "So? AJ's not with her, though, right?"

"She said that she's been spending time with AJ alone and I haven't really had a chance to talk to him...well because he's never around." she sighed. "Then Thanksgiving...I really lost it."

"Honey, he's ECW champion." She reminded her. "His schedule's packed. What happened at Thanksgiving?"

"I know, I know." she said. "So Thanksgiving we went to Randy's parents' house and Lauren showed up. Apparently, AJ invited her and well...I didn't say anything to her, I welcomed her and was nice. Then she put on like the sluttiest of slutty outfit on, like total whore bag, then said that she talked to AJ and he said that she looked hot in that outfit. She was going to meet up AJ alone, later on that day and of course, she said she was going to be under him or whatever." she said sniffling.

"God Lacy, what the fuck did I ever do to deserve all this fucking drama in my life?" she asked tearing up.

Lacy knew what Ellie was going through to an extent, because it'd recently happened to her with Karla.

"El, you're married. Shit happens in a marriage. You've got your ups and downs in a marriage. Do you trust AJ? Because if you did, you wouldn't even be upset over this right now." And it was true. If Ellie trusted AJ, really trusted AJ, then she wouldn't give a damn about what Lauren said, because she'd know that he'd never cheat on her.

"I...do." she nodded. "It's just like I told Katie, how do I know that they don't have some other past or something, instead of being childhood friends. I'm not around AJ all the time now, I don't even go to shows or anything." she shrugged. "That whore just really gets me, it's like she knows how to get into my brain and make me believe everything she says."

"if they had a past, then leave it where it is now. In the past. He married you, so obviously he really doesn't want anything to do with her in a romantic aspect."

"This is all just a big mindfuck right now." she groaned.

"It'll all blow over, El. She'll get the hint and leave you alone."

"I hope so. I'm just not looking forward to talking to AJ about it. In fact, I don't even think he notices Lauren flirting with him."

"Which is why you need to bring it to his attention so he doesn't walk into a trap." She nodded.

"I hope he believes me, after all...she is his childhood friend."

"That he hasn't seen in years, she could have changed, which apparently she has."

"I guess we'll see. Until then, that wedding is on hold.''

"Damn her."

"Yeah."
