He set her down gently in the backseat of his car before getting back in the driver's seat and drove like a madman to the hospital, running the red lights and rushign to the emergency parking area.

Trish lied on the back seat still unconscious with blood coming from her wound.

He parked quickly and once the engine cut off, he went to the backseat and carried her inside.

"Help! Someone please help me!!"

A couple nurses ran over and immediately brought a gurney over when they saw Trish.

"Lie her down."

The paramedics rushed Trish to the emergency room.

Chris took a seat in the waiting room trying to figure out what happened to her.

After a couple hours a doctor came out.

He looked up and went up to the doctor. "How's Trish? Is she okay? What happened to her?"

"She was shot in the abdominal area but we were able to safety get the bullet out of her and stop the bleeding, she should be fine."

He sighed a huge sigh of relief. "Thank god...can I see her?"

The doctor nodded.

"She's sleeping at the moment but I can walk you to her room."

The doctor walked to Trish's room then opened the door before he left to give them some time alone.

Chris sat by Trish's bed. He didn't want to wake her so he just decided to wait until she woke up on her own.

Trish moaned as she turned her head to the side. Her eyes flickered as she started to wake up then finally opened them. She looked around the room then saw Chris.

"Chris." Trish muttered softly.
