Sibling Rivalry (Ortons)

Katie was doing some paperwork in her office as the two month old Kayla happily played with a toy in her playpen. She chuckled as she looked up and saw Kayla grabbed a Randy Orton action figure then started hitting the blocked with it. Hearing the door open Katie looked over then smiled when Jake came in with Randy.

"Mommy I got...what is she doing with my action figure?!" Jake yelled as he glared at Kayla.

"Jake you left it here, just let her play with it." Katie said.

"No!" Jake yelled before he snatched the action figure from Kayla's hands causing her to cry.

"Jake come on, you have to share. She's your sister." Randy told him.

"No I don't. I don't care who she is, it's my action figure." Jake said.

"Jake stop being mean to Kayla." Katie said as she picked Kayla up.

"If she wasn't such a stupid baby trying to take all my stuff I wouldn't be mean." Jake said.

"Jake that's enough. She is not a stupid baby and you have to love her." he tells him.

"No I don't." Jake said.

"Oh really? Who said that?"

"Me." Jake said.

"Well newsflash Jake you have to love her so be nice." Katie said before she sat down and put Kayla on her lap.

"No! I hate her, I'm not going to be nice!" Jake yelled.

Kayla whimpered as she cuddled up to Katie.

"Jake!" Randy yelled. "That is it, you are going on time out until you are nice to your sister."

"I am not." Jake said as he walked to the door.

Randy blocked Jake from leaving the room.

"Oh you are."

"Move!" Jake yelled.

"No." he said firmly. "I'm your father and you listen to me." he told him.

"You're a crappy father." Jake said before he threw his action figure at Randy's stomach.

"Jake go into the corner now and take your time out." Katie said sternly.

"Make me." Jake said.

Randy couldn't believe how rude Jake was being, especially to Katie as well. He picked up Jake and put him in the corner.

"Now, you sit there until we think you're allowed out of time out."

Jake glared at Kayla.

"This is all your fault you stupid brat!" Jake yelled.

"This isn't Kayla's fault, it's yours now be quiet." Katie said.

"Maybe if you were nicer, you wouldn't be on time out." he said to Jake. "Now not a word from you."

Jake glared.

Kayla grabbed her bear and smiled before she reached for Randy.

Jake grabbed a bouncy ball then threw it at Kayla's hand.

"He's my daddy first stop trying to get him to hold you!" Jake yelled.

Kayla burst into tears.

Randy took Kayla and rocked her in his arms to calm her down.

"Jake, you could hurt her." he told him as he shook his head.

"Like I care." Jake muttered.

Katie glared.

"Jake turn around and shut up." Katie said sternly.

Kayla continued crying as she put the hand Jake threw the ball at in her mouth.

Randy removed her hand from her mouth and kissed it lightly to ease her.

"It's okay Kayla." he said softly.

"Jake, listen to your mother."

Kayla started to calm down as she gripped Randy's finger.

"Or we could just get rid of Kayla and everything would be fine." Jake said.

"We're not getting rid of her." Katie said.

Randy continued to rock her.

"We are not getting rid of her. I don't understand why you dislike her so much Jake. We treat you both the same and we pay attention to the both of you."

"She's a brat and keeps thinking she can play with my stuff and you both give it to her." Jake said.

Kayla stopped crying and cuddled up to Randy.

"Well she's a baby and it's nice to share."

"No it's not. She can just go back to mommy's belly and stay there." Jake said.
