Lacy's Birthday

"I'd just want to see if your answer would change."

"Assuming that we'd be together for that long." She laughs lightly.

"Oh? You don't think we would?"

"I want us to be. But I can't tell the future."

"I guess time will tell."

"You sound old." She laughed.

'You're the one that's old." he teased.

She let her head fall back. "Thanks for reminding me." She pouted.

He shook his head in amusement and kissed her as she pouted.

"I'm sorry."

"No you aren't." She pouted but kissed him back anyway.

"Oh but I am. I know how it feels to get older, it sucks."

"You aren't old though."

"I'm a couple of months older than you." he chuckled. "I think arthritis is my next step in the aging process." he joked.

"It's different." She sighed. "When guys get older, they get hotter. When women get older, we actually age, get crows feet, bags under our eyes, we get fat..." She rambled.

"So you're worried that you'll end up like that?"

"Yes."

He shook his head.

"You won't get like that." he told her. "You're always in shape, apparently eating in small portions." he chuckled. "And you're doing fine. Besides, I'd still love you even if you went through all of that. Oh and we don't get hotter...have you seen Ric Flair? Gross." he shuddered.

"I'm just saying, looking rough and rugged looks hot on you. Wouldn't look great on me."

"Nonsense, I'd love it."

"You're just saying that because you're my boyfriend." She chuckled.

"Boyfriend or not, I would have said it either way."

"Well aren't you sweet."

"Eh, I try."

She kissed him lightly. "Thank you. For today, I mean."

"Ah, well in that case, you are very welcome." he replied as he kissed her back.
