Run-In with the Ex [Ellie/Brad]

Ellie was backstage at RAW with Maddie, going to visit Katie. She felt like she hadn't seen her in a long time and wanted to spend some time with her. Carrying Maddie and attempting to keep a hold on her since she was trying to take off her onesie, Ellie chuckled, but ending up dropping Maddie's baby bag. She groaned to herself as she bent down to pick it up.

"Just great." she muttered.

Brad was walking around backstage, he just got back after he hurt his shoulder a couple months ago. On his way back to his locker room he saw Ellie then walked over to her.

"Long time no see." Brad said.

Ellie looked up and stood up after grabbing her belongings. She saw Brad and nodded.

"Oh yeah...how are you?" she asked as Maddie looked at him curiously.

"I'm good. I just got back from an injury. How are you?" Brad asked.

"Oh I'm great." she nodded. "Um, another injury? That's got to suck."

"Yeah but I'm back and better then ever." Brad said with a smirk.

"That's great." she nodded.

Brad looked over at the little girl Ellie was holding.

"Who's that?" Brad asked.

"Oh..." she said as she looked over at Madison. "This is my daughter, Madison."

"You have a daughter?" Brad asked.

"Yeah and I got married."

"Married?" Brad asked in shock.

She nodded.

"Yep."

"When did all of this happen?" Brad asked.

"Well after we broke up, I met someone and it's been a couple of months." she pointed out.

"Um...well...congratulations I guess." Brad said.

"Thanks." she nodded.

"You're welcome." Brad said.

"Yeah...." she replied. "How about you? Any other women in your life?" she asked as Maddie rested her head on her shoulder.

"Nope. I've just been rehabbing my shoulder." Brad said.

"Oh, well that's good then."

"I'd rather have a girlfriend though." Brad said.

Ellie felt a little awkward when he said that and nodded.

"Right. I'm sure someone will come along."

"Yeah I guess." Brad muttered.

She nodded.

"This is just all very awkward."
