It Was Just A Cold Empty It Was Just A Cold

It was just a cold.That's all Angel thought when the symptoms first came on. What she didn't know then was she could die from that cold due to her recent lymphoma diagnosis.

She lied in the hospital bed, weak, frail, pale, nearly lifeless. Wires and cords came out from everywhere, leading to the dozens of machines that were probably the only thing keeping her alive.
