Coming Home (Katie and The Legend)

Katie dressed in a pair of jeans, a white shirt, and a black hoodie got out of her car. She took a minute to look around at the area she grew up in before she walked up to her dad's house. A lot has happened since she last saw her dad, some good and some bad. Katie knocked on the door then waited patiently for her dad.

Legend was at home enjoying a quiet evening at home, when he heard a knock on the door. Legend was disappointed in all of his kids and the chaos he heard they were causing. Off the top of his head, he knew who it was. He was expecting one of his little girls to show up first, and usually it was Katie who always came to him fbefore little stubborn Ellie.

"Come in" he yelled with out even budging, or looking at the door...."How's it going sweetpea" Legend replied with the nickname he gave Kaite when she was just a little girl, since out of the five she was the sweetest. still not moving or looking. He just knew it was Katie....

Katie couldn't help but smile when she heard her childhood nickname as she walked into the house.

"How did you know it was me?" Katie asked.

"I know all of my children like I know the back of my hand, I can tell alot by the way you knocked" Legend said "I was expecting you...You want to just cute to the chase, or are you going to try to soften me up first" he said standing up folding his arms "stretch on try" he boldly replied

"Or I came here to talk because I've had a lot of crap happen to me recently." Katie said.

"So talk" he said not showing a sign of sympathy

Katie sighed as she looked down.

"Well you know my boyfriend Randy Orton went on a promotional tour a month ago and a week after he left a guy named Nick raped me." Katie said as tears filled her eyes.

"Now, how would I know that...I don't know anything because none of you bother to call me" Legend said not showing no sign in emotion

Katie looked up at her dad.

"Dad I just said creep went to my house, kidnapped me, then rapped me! Now I'm pregnant and I don't even know if my boyfriend is the father of my baby! You could at least hug me!" Katie cried.

"You lucky I still can hug you" Legend said "Aren't you alive, aren't you standing before me" he yelled

The Legend wasn't you typical father. He was strict and hard on all of his kids especially on Ellie, and Katie his only two girls who had to learn to be strong and fight back, because they were women.

Katie wiped away her tears. She cursed her hormones, she never cried in front of her dad because she knew how he was.

"Yeah." Katie said.

"Ok...Then why are you crying...shit happens" He said "Just think the lord you lived to come tell me the tale"

Katie nodded.

"Stupid hormones." Katie muttered.

"I'm, ready to listen when you're ready to stop crying" he said brushing past her and going outside to sit in his rocking chair on his proch

Katie sighed as she grabbed a tissue then wiped her eyes before she walked outside and onto the porch.

"I'm all ears...And I suggest you tell me the truth and you tell me everything, because 10 times out of ten I know it all" he said not looking at her

Katie sat down on the porch.

"Well it first started a couple months ago when Candice and I were at a club when we met two guys Michael and Nick. Soon after we were drugged and taken to Nick's house where they kept us tied to poles in their basement. During the hour we were there we got beaten, stripped, and other stuff happened to us. Finally Jeff and Randy got there and rescued us. Then a month ago Nick showed up and took me then brought me to his house. He yelled abuse at me then raped me. I found out yesterday that I'm pregnant and I don't know if Nick or Randy is the father."

"Did you give Nick and Micheal any assumptions, that you were intrested" Legend simply asked

"Maybe a little but it was only jokingly. That doesn't mean they can do all that stuff to us because we flirt a little bit!" Katie yelled.

She stood up then glared at her dad.

"You know out of all people I thought my dad would be the first one when he heard that his daughter went through all this crap that he would track the guy down and kill him! You even said to Randy that you would shoot him if he ever hurt me!" Katie yelled.

"You sit your ass down right now" Legend said assertively

"Now I didn't say I wasn't upset" Legend said "But, what I've learned is that my kids only call me when they need me" Legend stood up "Not when I need them"

"Now...my question is if you had a boyfriend, where were you out carrying about in that way" he asked

Katie sat down.

"I don't know. Candice and I just decided to have a little fun." Katie said.

"I brought you up better than that" he said

"I know but it was only flirting." Katie said.

"TO YOU, You're a beautiful girl, you have no room to just flirt" he yelled "to you its flirting to him its mind games"

"Well it felt innocent at the time." Katie said.
