A Hardy Family BBQ (The Hardys, Randy, Candice, and Soraya)

Matt got out of the car then went over to the passenger side. Today was the bbq his dad Gilbert Hardy planned to see his kids and the people they dated. Matt smiled as he opened the door open for Soraya.

"You ready?" Matt asked.

"Absolutely." Soraya stepped out of the car and smoothed her hands over her blue jeans that she wore with black sneakers and black top. "So this is where you grew up?" She asked, looking around.

"Yes it is and the best part is that my house isn't far away." Matt said as he opened the back door and let Lucas out.

"That is a bonus." Soraya agreed. "It must have been wonderful, growing up in the country like this."

Ellie walked out and almost tripped over Lucas.

"Ah! Lucas watch it." she said as she held a big bowl of pasta salad in her hand.

"Oh hey Matthew." she said smirking.

"It was." Matt said.

He looked at Ellie then glared.

"It's Matt not Matthew!" Matt yelled.

Soraya laughed. "You must be Ellie, it's nice to finally meet you, I'm Soraya."

"I know I'm just messing with you. Gosh, don't get your panties in a twist." she said laughing as she looked over at Soraya.

She freed one of her hands.

"Yep, that's me. The sweet and innocent Hardy." she said glaring at Matt jokingly as she shook hands with Soraya.

"She's not sweet or innocent. She's pure evil just like Katie." Matt said.

"No no. Katie is pure evil, trust me I know." she said chuckling.

"Dad's out in the back, I'm on my way over there now to bring the pasta salad, so you can come back if you want." she said.

"From what I know about you Hardys is that you're all sweet and innocent until someone pisses you off, then Lord have Mercy on the offender's soul." Soraya joked.

Matt looked at Soraya.

"That's very very true." Matt said.

"Hm, I'd definitely have to agree. I mean I find slashing tires and breaking windows, fun." she said with a laugh.

Soraya laughed. "Ex-boyfriend?"

"I still think you should have let him kick his ass." Matt said.

"Yep." she said smiling.

She turned to Matt.

"No, I handled it quite well. I didn't overreact, well at least I don't think I did." she said laughing.

[sorry...my internet was deciding to be a jerk...lol]

"I wish I could have seen his reaction though." Matt said.

He then smirked.

"I'll be right back." Matt said before he walked off.

Jeff had made it to his dad's house...the home he and his siblings grew up in. He smiled at Candice in the passenger seat. "You ready for a fun time?" he asked chuckling as he found a parking spot and stopped the car.

"Hey! Where are you going?" she yelled out but didn't get an answer.

"How rude." she said jokingly as she face Soraya.

"Want to give me a hand bringing some stuff to the back?" she asked with a smile.

"Sure Ellie." Soraya said.

Candice grinned. "I'm always ready for fun."

"Good because...while we Hardys may be fun together...now we have the Hardy patriarch and it's at the home where we caused the most damage." he said laughing as he went aorund to her door and opened it for her.

As she gave Soraya some items to bring to the back, she started to make conversation.

"So how did you and Matt get together?"

"Jeff, I've met your Dad before." Candice reminded him. "Remember your Christmas party last year, your Dad had too much egg nog and wouldn't stop hitting on me?" She laughed.

Soraya looked thoughtful. "I'm not sure exactly. I've liked him for a very long time, but he was with Amy and then I left to battle cancer. When I came back, things just kind of worked themselves out."

"I know...but hey, how could I blame him?" he said winking at her as they got to the door of the main house.

Matt went up to his dad.

"Hey dad you wouldn't mind if I slashed Randy's tires would you?" Matt asked.

"You're going to video tape his reaction right?"

"Of course." Matt said.

"Then it's fine with me."

"Awesome." Matt said with a wide smile.
