Comfort From A Best Friend (Katie and Candice)

Katie parked in the driveway of Candice's house then got out. She had tears rolling down her cheeks as she walked up to the door. After learning that Randy Orton was using her just to get a title shot she was heartbroken. Katie broke up with Randy and soon Randy tried to get her back but she refused to be with him even though she still loved him. She rang the doorbell then waited for Candice.

"Coming." Candice rose from her couch and padded barefoot into the foyer. It was one of her nights off that SmackDown had a houseshow, so she had been prepared to spend the evening alone since Jeff had work that night.

Curious as to who was at her door, Candice opened it to find her tear stained best friend. "Katie!" She said in alarm. "What happened? What's wrong?" She immediately ushered Katie inside and hugged her.

Katie held onto Candice as she continued crying.

"I thought I could trust him, I can't believe that he did this." Katie said.

"Trust who?" Candice hugged Katie tighter. "Who hurt you, Katie? I'll kill them."

"Randy. It was all a lie, he said he loved me but all he was doing was using me for a damn title shot." Katie cried.

Candice froze. "HE WHAT?!" She exclaimed.

"I overheard him on the phone and he said to someone that he was using me to get a title shot. I was stupid how could I really believe that he actually loved me?" Katie asked as she started sobbing.

"Oh Katie." Candice rocked her in comfort. "He had us all fooled. What an Asshole! I can't believe he'd do this. Ugh! I'm going to kick him really hard, right in the jewels, then have Dave Batista Bomb him when we get back to RAW."

"How could I be so stupid? I always fall for jerks and then they use me until they get what they want." Katie said.

"You're not stupid, Katie, they are. For not seeing how wonderful you really are." Candice soothed. "He had us all fooled, Katie. Even Matt, who is the most skeptical about anyone you dated, didn't question Randy so much."

"He even tried to tell me earlier that he loved me and that he was sorry but I bet it was only to get the title." Katie said as she closed her eyes and let the tears fall.

"He's a stupid jerk." Candice hugged Katie close. "He's going to regret this big time, Katie. Especially when your brother's find out."

"I kind of already told Jeff." Katie muttered.

"Okay," Candice frowned, wondering why Jeff hadn't said anything, but saved it for later. "Well when Matt finds out, Randy's a dead man."

"You have ice cream right? I could use a big tub of mint chocolate chip ice cream." Katie said.

"Of course I have ice cream. Have a seat on the couch, I'll get it." She said, heading for her kitchen.

Katie sniffled then walked into the living room and sat down on the couch. She wiped away a few tears as she waited.

"Got it, Haagen Daaz too." Candice rentered the living room and sat down beside Katie, passing her tub and a spoon. "Tell me what else I can do."

Katie looked at the ice cream then Candice.

"Kill Randy." Katie said before she closed her eyes and let the tears in her eyes roll rapidly down her cheeks.

"I will, just wait until I see him next." Candice assured her. "Oh Katie, please, there's got to be something I can do to make you feel a little better."

Katie put a scoop of ice cream in her mouth.

"Santino dancing might make me laugh but I doubt he's anywhere near here." Katie muttered.

Candice laughed. "I've got his mankini dance on DVD, I burned it!" She said before getting up to put it in the DVD player.

Katie wiped away her tears as she looked at the tv.

"If Santino doesn't get me to laugh I don't know what will." Katie said as she ate another scoop of ice cream.

"If Randy made it so you can't laugh at Santino dancing, I'll kill him painfully then have Santino dance on his grave." Candice told hitting the play button.

Katie watched as Santino danced then chuckled softly as she ate more ice cream.
