"He picked a hell of a time to snap on me, Ellie. This happened how long ago? And now he wants to be mad at me? Where was all of this anger when it first happened?" she sighed, frustrated. "He likes to always pin it on me that I don't know how to let shit go and move on but he can never live up to his own word. I don't know why he's jealous of Roman, because I didn't choose him in the end and I never was going to. Yeah, I'm an idiot and 99% of the time I don't make the best decisions but marrying Phil was the best decision I've ever made and it's like he doesn't believe that. I know my actions don't always reflect that, and I don't know, maybe I'm fucking crazy for it. I just want him to trust me 100% and tonight showed me that he still has some doubt."

"Yes, and he gave me the usual answer to shut me up, but I don't think he's being true to himself." she said. "He tells me what I want to hear so I don't get upset but I feel like I've been begging him this past year to just tell me how he feels, good, bad or indifferent. He knows when I'm happy or not but I never know when he is or isn't because he always has to put on the cape and play Superman."

I'm tired of being the one in the marriage that is just constantly expected to start shit, or have a bad day. It's stressful. And it's like, no matter how many times I tell him that in some way, shape or form, he just won't take off the cape. It's fucked up, but I want him to be angry with me, you know? I want him to just.. I don't know. Feel. Let it out."

"Well, his Dad said that she can only feel 60% of her left side and she can't walk." she sighed. "She might have short-term memory loss and depression." she said. "They're hopeful though that with the PT she needs to do, she'll get the feeling back and can walk again. It's happened many time to other patients, so they are sure she will be okay in the long run. At least, I hope that's the case."

She shook her head. "I've tried to talk to him about it, but he either storms off or snaps at me." she said. "He's been going out a lot lately with his wrestling buddies and just gets hammered. I've had to pick him up a few times and it's just...frustrating. We got into an argument about it the other day and I haven't spoken to him since. Not like he cares anyway."
